There are some amazing sounds in this show. The sound of Wolverine’s claws exiting, Cyclops’ optic blasts and my favorite, Gambit’s charged cards/projectiles flying through the air.

I like how stealth is listed as a skill when Wolverine wears a bright yellow and blue uniform.

Wolverine was my favorite X-man back then… and now that I’m older watching this I realize he was all bark and no bite.😂😂😂 They gave him the sharpest, shiniest claws in all of marvel universe and he couldn’t use them on nothing but walls, doors, and sentinels. He spent 98.6% of the time just flashing them while threatening/talking 💩. He was always on the verge of whoopin somebodies ssa but it always ended up a wrestling match with them holding his arms so he couldn’t use his claws or someone stopping him right before he used them on someone. They did my boy dirty to keep this cartoon kid friendly 😂

Well Wolverine was considered inferior to most of the main X-Men until Hugh Jackman. After that, there was a rewriting of history just like Tony Stark after RDJ. The exact opposite happened with Cyclops. I remember in school we idolized him as a competent leader, but after his portrayal in the movies, he's been reduced to a side character with low self esteem. And this has continued in animated series as well. PS: That theme though...it gives me the chills!!

Your exactly right about Cyclops. In the cartoon he was ready to throw hands with wolverine but Jean stopped him. Wolverine stay ready. In the movies, Cyc was crying everytime his emotions got high. Cyclops was like Leonardo from the turtles that always had to fight a knucklehead in the family or group, even when they were ultimately on the same team. Good point again I say.

What are you talking about? A couple of episodes revolved around him with Jubilee and that's it. I'm not saying he was a nobody, but I remember in school everyone raved about Cyclops, Gambit, Storm, Rogue and even Xavier, but not Logan that much.@@suleymanbabak1973

i think this video over exaggerates:while mostly in the comics,cartoons and movies -tv Logan DOES have the following: Healing factor, heightened senses & stamina - and that's withOUT the adamantium and his formidable fighting skills (learned BEFORE 'Weapon X')-all these OTHER "powers" are, well, like i said.... OVER EXAGGERATED. ... STILL: this's been a really great video. Thank you for this.

He got enhanced strength from the procedure like around Captain America if not a lighter weaker just slightly. With his mutant physiology that granted him like you said Heightened senses, and had amazing stamina and endurance and speed. He’s so superior in fighting skills only a handful of people can actually take on Wolverine in a straight up fight. Characters like Iron Fist, Shang Chi, Black Panther, Captain America and maybe Karnak can beat him in a fight other than no one else truly can fuck with him because of those skills he possesses

I'm rewatching the show and it doesn't have as many losses as I remembered

All I have to say, is Hugh Jackman has got a lot of training to do at his age, if he is reprising this X-Men 97 version of Wolverine. Sure he will resemble this version of Sabertooth on the big screen, instead.

What used to annoy me about this show, was even though it’s a kid’s show.. A lot of the time, Wolverine used to get his ass handed to him. It’s like he sorta’ got toned-down or “nerfed”.

Why Wolverine sucks in animation: because it’s all kids’ animation, Wolverine isn’t allowed to be shown cutting, stabbing, smoking, drinking, or healing from his injures like he does in live-action Why Wolverine sucks in live-action: the way he fights showcases nothing of his fight training beyond wild slashing and getting shot, stabbed, and hit by every moron he encounters. Are we ever gonna get the best of both worlds? A bloody, vulgar, live-action Wolverine that’s hard to kill not just because he can heal from any injury, but because it’s hard to injure him in the first place?
