Being a Wolves fan, at the time this felt like the worst thing to happen to my club, but we sacked Mick, had shit Terry Connor, got relegated twice and hit rock bottom. But i feel if those turn of events didn't happen, Fosun wouldn't have bought us as we were cheap being in the lower leagues as Fosun originally looked at WBA but they where to expensive being in the Premier league, and bought Wolves instead. Rest is history, enjoyed European cup football a couple of seasons ago and the memories of going to some of those European teams grounds was amazing.

The bias of Goodman's commentary towards Wolves is laughable , grudgingly giving Albion credit.

Don does a great job of staying calm and keeping his secret to himself after every goal. He popped into a pub in Penkridge after we beat them 2-1 at the Hawthorns in October and shouted "boing boing" apparently.

As for Wolves that hurt big time to concede 5 to not just any team or the traditional big 6 but to their arch rivals you ask any fan of Wolves or West Brom this match is as big to them as the Merseyside, North London or Manchester Derbies and it was the death nell toll for Mick McCarthy and they never recovered until Kenny Jackett came in when they double dipped to League one in consecutive seasons and built the foundations in which Nuno Espirito Santo has built on significantly

Brian Wright In what way. It's not like any Wolves fans have ever done that. It's not like they do five times a day because they are sad fuckers with no life so have to clutch to one small victory that they at least support a team that is in the prem. It's even more sad when you take into account our relative histories from Jeff Astell and domination of the wolves to, oh look, 5 1 and domination of the wolves for the majority of the 21st century. We beat you to promotion, we have been in the prem longer, we have more silverware, 5 1 and we don't ALL constantly bitch about one small victory we have because we don't have shitty lives and have better uses of our time. So there now GO FUCK OFF and remain in that depressing life of yours. BTW I am half genuinely sorry if you do suffer from depression because whether or not you say stupid stuff or are a dingle it is still bad and I wish that you recover from your mental problems, see the light and start supporting the Baggies.

Ha Ha Ha, I think that result was start of the problems at Wolves, but we ended up in league 1 with back to back relegation, with shit owners and managers and ended up being a big club in a lower division, but Fosun saw the potential and plus we where mega cheap because of where we was, and ever since we have had the best 3/4 seasons of any Wolves supporters life thanks to Fosun. Funny thing Fosun looked at the Albion before buying Wolves but your owners wanted way to much so they looked down the road.

@@welloilbeefhooked4984 The problems were already there before this Black Country Derby bloodbath Wolves had lost 9 in a row one of which against Liverpool the then chairman Steve Morgan was so unhappy with the manor of that 3-0 home defeat he went into the dressing room and ripped into the players. It got the right response because days after that they beat relegation rivals QPR at the KPF stadium aka Loftus Road but this wow they fell apart.
