My daughter was rushed to ER recently with 250 bpm. Diagnosed w WPW antidromic. They gave her adenosine which worked but you said shock is a must. Could you attempt to explain why the adenosine worked? Btw she’s in her ablation surgery now and I’m in the waiting room.

How did your daughter fair?

OMG...I was diagnosed as having an AVNRT, but was having SVTs at over 300 bpm...I had an ablation done, but it didn't 100% go away and currently on metropol...the way you described everything, it sounds more like an AVRT... Had the surgery back in 2013...had to go to the ER the other day for a car accident I was in and the doc called what I had WPW so I had to look into it...I wonder if I may have been wrongly diagnosed as an AVNRT, when it is an AVRT instead...

Can PR segment be non-horizontal?

It usually pretty flat and is used as part of the isoelectric line.

Another question @1:02:46 is it macro-reentrant or micro-reentrant?
