How long is the rear camera cable

Hey is there a way it could be used as a regular mirror?

If I don't fit the back camera can I split screen so half the screen is the front recording and the other half a normal mirror to see the back of the car?

Is there any Image stabilization on this unit?

Hola. Que diferencia hay del modelo G840H y G840S?. Se podría utilizar para poder ir viendo a mis hijos en los asientos traseros, en vez de colocarla en la parte trasera del vehículo? Lo pregunto por si se puede invertir la imagen de la cámara trasera, para su colocación

Hola cliente, gracias por contactarnos. La mayor diferencia entre ellos es que los chips y píxeles incorporados son diferentes. 840H tiene una lente frontal de 2.5k y una lente trasera de 1080P; tanto antes como después de 840S son 1080P. Si tiene más preguntas, comuníquese con nosotros, ¡gracias!

When reverse gear is selected the rear camera view and parking grid come up, when the engine is off this stays in parking mode permanently. When the engine is running the parking mode switches on and off in approximately two second intervals. Is this a faulty mirror unit?

Yes, the G840s has the LDWS lane departure warning system which warns you when sensing departure from one lane. Please do check the usb port as the type-c's Ports don't have LDWS, mini Ports do have access to this function through the settings. Please check the presence and installation of the hardwire kit as an accessory part, if is installed correctly then the Dash cam can engage parking monitoring through the settings.😄

@@WOLFBOXOfficial i have the G840s but I do not see the Parking Mode or Time Lapse under my settings feature. What’s going on?

Does it cover the whole mirror in a larger SUV without interfering with the camera? I've seen some videos of similar style mirror cams not fitting over the whole mirror

TowerMonkey614 No! I have a small SUV but a large rear view mirror. This mirror dash cam is as large. But does not extend beyond my mirror. So it is offset about 2”. But I must add that this is such a fantastic mirror, when it was working, that I will retrofit the dash am somehow! Even if I have to take my original off. And make a backplate and install! A great buy!

May i ask if you did not buy the G-840s GPS or if our device does not work properly? if you are connecting different devices there may be an issue of compatibility. if The G-840S has any more problematic issues, please contact service@wolfbox.com

Does the G840S have audio recording?

Mine does. Not sure if my rear camera plays the audio from inside the car or outside if it does record audio but when I reviewed my front camera video I could hear the music I was listening to. I also personally love having a video rearview mirror instead of just a mirror

WOLF BOX I have not received the replacement camera that you were to send to me. The original camera worked well. As did the entire mirror functions, for a few times! Now it turns on. But only displays the front camera area... I am unable to switch to any other mode. It will allow me to go into settings. But only the recording section is available. I would like a new replacement of the entire unit. And I would like to purchase the hard wire permanent install connector. Thank you! Please reply ASAP. As I am planning on touring for a couple of months. And that is why I had purchased this unit.🤗
