Had to come back to this video. I have my dashcam for 2 months now and zero issues and just today i got in an accident and it showed EVERYTHING EXTREMELY CLEARLY Highly highly recommended

Does it have anti glare for the rear view cam? I bought a cam and found that the mirror dash flickers and blinds me when it's hit direct from headlight at night.

Dont buy this if you want to drive at night...it's HORRIBLE in low light areas, and headlights are blinding.

​@@vancehadley3962not if the camera is designed properly. I have no issues with my oem camera. I'm assuming it either has some sort of antiglare coating or it software controlled.

Makes sense since OEM mirrors in modern cars have a dimming feature when they sense light so it doesn’t blind you.

Depends where I have a 2021 tundra with 5% tint best investment , I put it right on top of my 3rd break light

how was the rear cam at night? I'm planning to get one as i have usually drive at night.

Does it record front and back all the time while you drive even if you don't use a split screen on the mirror?

I need this to monitor my monitor lol... should've put it in before i got an interlock. I can't disconnect the dang battery now😮

How do you playback saved videos on the dashcam itself, I have this model but I have not figured out how to playback videos.

Is that a USB C cable? Or a mini?

I have one of these and they're great! The only thing I don't like is the clock won't keep time. I'm guessing it's because I didn't use the "hard wire" method. So it only gets power when I turn the car on. But I figured with GPS it would automatically know the time. Am I wrong? The hard wire set from Wolf Box is about $20.00 but I've seen universal hard wire sets for about $12.00. Think it would still work?

@@titobarria The time zone is adjusted right (-6 for Central time) and it remembers that but its still an hour off after I adjust the time and power off and then power on. Did you use the hard wire method?

fitted mine to the reverse light wire and it works as it should, very good i reckon

Did the backup camera just powered up by pluging the camera into the dashcam mirror 🪞? Or u need to do some wiring at the back ?

It powers up when you plug it in and turn on the car

FYI. If you swipe RIGHT from the LEFT side of the screen, you can change camera views. Found this out by accident.

Yes, just make sure you’re getting a good capture wherever you place the rear camera

Can this be placed in a 2023 Prius? Unfortunately my trim doesn't include the digital rearview mirror.

I always wondered if the dash cam is recording everytime you drive won't it have really long videos where it'll take up a lot of space or can you delete these?

it saves over old footage unless you specifically save certain moments or recordings. usually it keeps a video for a few days or hours before it deletes

Can I use it without connecting the rear view camera? I already have a rear-view camera, and it would be tedious to drill holes all over my car. Is that possible?

Yes, you will get a constant view of your rear the entire drive.

I keep hearing the back camera is a big problem unless you buy the WDR rear camera then it should be fine.

take off the side panelling and fit the wire behind the air bag!

Can this be mounted to a cross beam in a golf cart? Or does it have to have a ‘normal’ mirror to hold it in place?

I don't see why not. You can always put some foam for extra support. But usually the clamps are designed for various sizes so you should be fine.

It has an SD card slot in the bottom. You'd take the SD card and view the footage on your computer

Would you leave this in your car parked overnight? Would anyone steal it? Like if they steal it they can use it? Like there is no locking code?

Front view is just for aiming the front camera. The windshield is for seeing where you're going. Split screen is good for nothing.

I've seen a lot of little old ladies driving whose eyes I can barely see over the dash. Stick one of these in front of the gauge cluster of one of their cars and we could maybe prevent some accidents by allowing them to see properly for the first time in decades.

They gave me an extra pair of the straps with the kit so I think that’s nice for when and if they do snap

3:26 its bothering me that you put it there should of made it look more OEM. i think is better to find the place were you want the camera located places I recommend would be by the back license plate lights then fish the wire back to the mirror its a bit more difficult I guess but it make it look like how most car come from factory.
