No Toboe!:( I'm glad Blue's owner sayed Toboe when he was dying. It made me cry.

This scene hurts me so deeply because I've seen myself in this character since the beginning of the show. And I know I'm not the only one who sees themselves in Toboe. Toboe, for me, reflects a mirror to a person who has been misunderstood through in his entire life, or a person that no one has ever tried to understand either. In some cases, we're all ‘monsters’ in someone's life, whether we're guilty or not. The guilty one tries to show his sadness, his remorse, his change; the innocent one tries to prove his innocence. Despite all of this, no matter how hard we try, we can't be more than a monster in other people's eyes. And while they seek to destroy this monster; the monster is fighting to make them realize it's not what they think it is. In fact, this war is so important to him that when it comes to it, he doesn't hesitate to give his life for those who try to hunt him down. Because this monster has love, not hostility, for those who try to hunt him. He does all of this just so people can understand and empathize with him. As much as I was sad and heartbroken in this scene as a monster myself like Toboe; I was happy to know that Toboe had shown the old man that he was wrong, and also Toboe had the peace he was looking for next to the elderly woman. I hope that anyone who is in the same situation and feels the same feelings can show to people who have bad thoughts about themselves that they are wrong. See you all in Rakuen.

The weakest wolf. Was actually the strongest. Toboe fought to his last breath to defend what he believed in. May we all be so lucky to die such an honorable death. The moon was with him. as she is with us all.

No matter how many times that I watch this scene I can't help but shed tears. To me, this is the most heart-breaking scene in the entire series.

Tsume's reaction is extremely touching because his bad-boy image was built for more than twenty episodes! This is what made the impact huge I believe.

Poor baby he's just a puppy. I always burst into tears seeing their deaths. 😭😢

when i was watching the episode, i burst out crying :'( toboe was and is always gonna be my fav wolf. r.i.p.

The part that gets me the most is seeing the light die from Quent's eyes while the music swells as Blue had just made it to his side.

Wolf's rain is only anime when I cried. Toboe's death was saddest death ever [*]

"Please... let me... sleep here...." OMG... Heaviest sorrow to behold. This anime can still touch you and make you cry no matter what you have gone through, no matter how "tough" you are.

i just finish watched this anime few days ago. when all the main characters die, i didn't cry...accept for toboe...even now my tears still falling when i watched this scene again...

I think it's more sad because he's a little kid and at the same he's actually a animal.. a wolf but he's so loyal and even though he shoots him by accident he still comes to quent and lays next to him.. >:/ i'm sad, fuck.

toboe was always my favorite because he was just so cute! i cry absolutely every time i watch this. His and Hige's deaths make me cry so hard :((

Darcia was a really well designed antagonist. Dude has lots of convictions, a backstory that made him human, and he look pretty cool with wolfs eyes along with his other entire.

with gravity I can't deal with cutting onion ninjas

My first time watching this anime was in a public Library and when it got to this scene I just broke out in tears I was as quite as I possibly could be but to this day I still think about this scene and cry, he was not only my favorite character but I felt like I could relate to him and this scene.... It really got to me and makes me cry every time I see it or think about it

2022 and still can't hold back the tears

I fell in love with this anime, and although watching all the characters I came to love die they way they all did broke my heart; I loved this anime because it did that, it was able to get you to fall in love with people that were destined to die. Very few shows can kill everyone and still have people who love it.

No matter how many times I watch this, I will still cry.

I was gibbering when I first watched this... still brings tears to my eyes :'(

I never saw this anime or many adult ones the first time I saw this scene. I had just flipped to adult swims toonami and this scene was what was playing. I had never seen a cartoon so graphic and emotional. After it was over I had no idea how to feel and that stuck with me for days and I guess always since I remember it now . I was 13 then, I am now 27

I cried so much these last few episodes😭

I don't know why this show didn't get the same fame as Berserk, because this event is no less dark and realistic than the Golden Age event.

Totally underrated. Just finished watching it again after over a decade.

For your first amv, this is amazing. I almost cried the whole time, and I must admit... Chills when the wolves started howling.

I watched WR over a decade ago. Such an underrated Anime. And apparently I had totally blocked what happens in the last 2 episodes.... I just watched them 😔 Toboe's death hit so hard.. I WAS A FRICKIN MESS!! 😭 Great video btw. I couldn't make it to the end, not right now. Gravity too, are you trying to kill me 🥹 😉👍

oh man it tears me apart every time i see it. i remember watching this episode, i told myself this is going to be my last episode for the night then off to bed but after i finished it i had to watch the rest of the episodes. i couldnt sleep at all that night and was like a zombie at school just wondering around, mumbling and sluring my words, pondering the meaning of life and what its worth. but when i understood i was sad, what kind of paradise is there for someone who runs from everything

And he was younger, less strength. Just watched this scene, no matter how many times I see it it's always a heartstring puller. Wolf's Rain is my favorite anime.

Man...i just finished this anime today and when I got to this episode, I didn't feel that sad even though I love Toboe like I know him in real life. But then later on when I tried to go to sleep, I couldn't because I felt sad and I didn't know why. Then I watched this again....and I started crying like crazy. Its just when he says "Please... let me sleep here" that really tugs the heartstrings. Why couldn't just the old man die instead? ;'(
