Wolf's Milk Slime is an Amoeba?!!!

Wolf's Milk is a Slime mold. But do you know that slime molds are not mushrooms or fungi? Well, what you will hear in this video may come as a shock to some of you. Groening's slime is a cosmopolitan species of myxogastrid amoeba! They have no brain, yet they can even learn!! It's a lot like the movie from the late 1950's "The Blob". Watch the video to find out what this single celled organism really is.

I have a complicated history with Wolf's Milk. I carry a magnifying glass with me when I go hiking just in case I find some. It gives me great satisfaction to direct the light of our star to a point the size of a pinhead. the heat wreaks vengeance upon their flesh,, causing it to blister and broil. sometimes the heat pierces a hole in the skin, the expanding hot air will rush through the hole, causing a pleasurable squeal of anguish, as if the rotten beasts were screaming in agony.
