I agree the long term usage and performance will make or break this baiting tool..good luck in the draw

The opening configurations look interesting and really useful for different feeds, plus the magnet system has got to be a thousand times better than the rest, fed up with clearing particle out of my impact spod to try and clip it shut.

Jon ive just got one and had a good look over it, looks well made, not used it yet, my findings are its quite stiff to open, maybe because of the magnets, what im going to try is blank a few of the magnets off to allow it to open easier, what you reckon,

I prefer the magnet design in stead of a clip like on the spomb and fox ect wonder in the spomb could use magnets instead of the clip? Would be interested to see what's it like with just maggots and just hemp....

So does the stem pull into the body when it hits the clip to open it or does it just break lose when it hits the water? As for force and distance you'll generally be hitting the clip harder at short range than you would at long range so trying to get it open at the top end of your casting range would probably be a better performance test, the reason some spombs don't work well at shorter range is because you hit the clip too high above the water and it falls belly down rather than nose first.

Looks good:- flies straight, retrieves easy, good payload & no stupid clips to fail. If the price is right reckon will sell well . Do you know if they are going to release it in various sizes or just the 1

I have one and really rate it. The only downside for me i have found is how loud it is when it opens... It seems to open up with a real 'crack' compared to other baiting bombs which puts me off using it on waters where i need to be more stealthy etc.

Interesting concept especially as magnets shouldnt go slack after millions of uses like clips do. Be interesting to see how the body copes with prolonged use. I like the uncluttered review style too

The fox one is poor. I used one for literally 3 casts and the hinge broke. I had to araldite a cotter pin to repair it. The dot spod is the best one so far, look forward to trying this one

the spider spod closed up on the retrieval i thought it had not opened but as you can see only water come out of the chamber and not 30 boilies as i loaded... btw its your choose not to sub that fine.. tight lines...

@@CHUNKSTV Yes I did clearly see some boilies drop out of the spod. They are there for everybody to see. Perhaps you can't see them because you are watching the video on your tiny phone screen? Not only did I see boilies drop out, I also heard the the boilies rattle inside the spod when he shook it, just before he opened it!!! Watch it again and turn the volume up on your device.
