‘Woke mind virus’ slightly 'less evolved' in Australia than UK: Toby Young

Free Speech Union Founder Toby Young says the “woke mind virus” is “slightly less evolved in Australia” than it is in the United Kingdom.
“You're about two years behind us,” Mr Young told Sky News hosts Rita Panahi, Rowan Dean and James Morrow.
“You’ve got some bad stuff coming your way."

UK. The British people now want Proportional Representation (PR). The first past the post system is no longer fit for purpose. It's an out of date electoral/voting system. Why? Labour won approx 400 seats from 30% of the vote. Reform UK under Farage won 5 seats from 14% of the vote. (Roughly 6 million people voted for Reform). And Reform came second in over a hundred seats. Consocialists (old Tory's) came third in those said seats. So with PR, Reform UK would have won around 130 seats instead of 5. The Liberal Democrats got around 12% of the vote and got 71 seats. They had less vote percentage than Reform UK. In other words the electoral system is up the creek in Britain. It needs reforming via a referendum. In the Labour Party's first election in 1900, they got 2 seats. Then in 1906 they got over 20. So Reform UK have done very very well for a new party in 2024 under an unfair system. On a side note. I believe that Kier Starmer was named after the founder of the Labour Party James 'Kier' Hardie. That's my guess. Since then Socialism has never worked. All the help that the working class had received since then came from Christian movements and inspiration from Judeo-Christian countries across Europe who pressurized Labour to implement their ideas.

It’s likely to overtake England because the uk has decent right wing parties throughout Europe. Whereas in Australia we are completely hooked on the idea of subsidising our way out of price issues. This will get added to debt, and the expenditure will come at the expense of increasing the money supply at rates far lower than growth. This will eventually lead to Argentinian style hyperinflation. As South America digs itself out of a nightmare we will copy all the things they did wrong for the last 100 years

@@gmtime5439 It is working out pretty well. It sure has been, basically unchanged for well over 200 years. As designed, the Constitutional process regarding anything, is slow. There's no such thing as actually changing laws willy-nilly by whatever political party is in power at the moment. This, directly the opposite of what commonly happens in Britain, Canada etc. I'm not too familiar what your State-run propaganda services, that masquerade as "the news", allow you to see. But, a lot of "stuff" is happening. The legal abuses of the system, the court cases against President Trump, are collapsing. The legal cases brought against those in the January 6th 'incident' are also being taken apart - also due to recent Supreme Court rulings/decisions. Due to our Constitution, the government couldn't force anyone to get the chot of death, as had unfortunately happened in Australia. School children weren't loaded onto buses to be taken to stadiums for 'mass inoculations' - done against their parents' wishes (how many of those unfortunate kids are still with us - unharmed?) I understand that there are those uncomfortable without living their lives being told what to do by their, I guess, masters. That's a pity as your masters are taking advantage of that weak sensibility.

Again, Tories just copied Australia's Coalition/Morisson governance - by becoming Labor light. If you check it - most of the world tend to vote traditionalist, except when Liberals/Progressive becomes cunning and scheming (that's the best they could do to win); or when they are loudest or frightening activist or intimidator that successfully intimidates the traditionalist parties ( Coalition/Morission/Dutton, Tory) transform into Labor light. That's what got both UK's or Australia's Labors to win. It is not that the Labors won, it is that the Tory/Coalition lost. In effect - people got disgusted. So people developed distrust towards the traditionalist parties. The people made a protest or disapproving vote by not voting Tory/Coalition - instead voted Labor, not because they like labor, but because they are angry at Coalition/Tory. Got that?
