@@newdenver99 Ja genau! 👍 Die Farb-Kombi ist Grau/Shadow, wir haben das größte Elektronik Paket mit 2x Solar und der Clesana Toilette gewählt. Wir stellen im nächsten Video aber alles noch mal im Detail vor.

Hello. Sorry i can't converse in German. I love what you are both doing with the cabin. It's very interesting as I'm thinking of buying an ultralight 2.5 and a VW amarok, probably around the middle of next year. It's also lovely how you are going to Norway. It's on my list too. Especially in the snow which influenced my choice for a 4x4. Can i ask you a couple of questions?. What heating have you got in the cabin?. I'm thinking of getting the Truma 6D combi. Also how do you insure your cabin and pick-up?. Do you have two separate policies for the cabin and pick-up?. Actually thats three questions 🤭. At the moment I'm deciding between a Vanworx MAN tge3 180 4×4 campervan or the Revolux 2.5 with the Amarok. I like the Hymer MLT Crossover but it's beyond my reach. I love the fact you're posting on KZread as your reality is my dream and I can hopefully learn from you. I have subscribed to your channel and I'm really looking forward to your future posts. Hi Mark, Thank you so much for your kind words and for subscribing to our channel! We're thrilled to hear about your interest in truck campers. To answer your questions, we currently use a gas heater in our cabin. We would recommend a diesel heater only if you plan to integrate it directly with the Pickup diesel tank. We're considering this option for our Hilux. Our setup is insured as a motorhome through a specialized broker, even though the pickup isn't registered as one. A photo serves as proof. The cabin is also insured when detached on enclosed grounds or camping sites. Our decision for this cabin was influenced by the desire to have a regular vehicle for everyday use, in addition to the camper capabilities. @rumgereist Hi Sabine, hi Nico. Thank you for your reply. I've been to the local VW commercial dealership today asking some questions. Mainly about a tonneau cover. I want something easy to take off when I want to use the cabin. They suggested I buy elsewhere as the VW ones are expensive. I like one called ARB HardLid Rigid Premium Tonneau Cover. It looks purposeful and easy to remove. Do you have a tonneau cover for use without the cabin?. It was interesting what you suggested about connecting the diesel heater to the pick-up fuel tank. Another interesting thing you have done is install air suspension. Why have you done this?. Does it increase the load capacity?. Is it just for the superior comfort of the ride?. Did you modify the front suspension?. I've got loads of questions, but I won't bombard you at once,😄. I'm concentrated on the amarok at the moment and what qualities I need within it before I start concerning myself with the cabin. I think I'll buy a 3rd generation around late February. I like you say, it's lovely I/we can use the pick-up as an everyday vehicle. I measured the height of my garage today and the Amarok ain't going in🤔🥺😖. Kind regards, Mark.

@@Whothefuckdrivesastationwagon Hi Mark, Yes, we've opted for a Tri-Fold Flip to cover our pickup bed. It's incredibly user-friendly and can be set up or removed in less than 2 minutes - super convenient, right? If you're curious about how it works, check out our first room tour video where we demonstrate handling the cover. Regarding the air suspension, it's a great addition to the tyres for boosting load capacity. For anyone considering a cabin like ours, I'd say it's pretty essential. We haven't modified the front suspension yet, but there are options out there. For instance, there's a completely different type of suspension system like the Ironman suspension, which operates independently of air suspension. Each choice has its pros and cons, so it's best to consult with experts. We recommend checking with specialists like 'Offroad Weigler' in Leverkusen for tailored advice. And about the cabin height - it's approximately 3.20m, which snugly fits into our barn with a 3-4cm clearance. Close call, but it works perfectly! 😉 Many greetings, Nico

Die Kabine ist Modular konfigurierbar, du kannst ganz easy den Konfigurator bei Podlunsek auf der Webseite nutzen. ✌️

Kleiner Hinweis zur Heimatstadt eurer Kabine. Es heißt 'Murska Sobota' und nicht nur Murska, so wie du in 3:45 sagst. 😉

Dankeschön. Wir waren jetzt so oft in Kontakt dort und gerade erst vor Ort, da haben wir es wie die einheimischen einfach mal abgekürzt. Hatten wir uns also einfach mal abgeguckt. Korrekt auf deutsch wäre aber ohnehin „Olsnitz“. Ohne diese Bezeichnung würde unser Navi die Stadt nicht mal finden.

Unser Navi hat Murska Sobota schon oft gefunden, von der deutschen Bezeichnung habe ich noch nie etwas gehört.
