Regarding ants: doesn't apply to all ants. Only very specific types. Most ants are basically blind, and only follow a trail of pheromones to a given location. It's why they'll enter a 'death spiral'. The reason you will see other ants in your house after killing ants is because you already have ants in your house.

Also, they don't (in any species) go out of their way to retrieve their dead, they just remove them from the nest. Some species take them to a special area, much like a graveyard, and some just throw them in a generic trash heap. There's no individuality in ants, and they don't actually _care_ about each other. They care about the colony as a whole, insofar as they are capable of caring at all. If you squish an ant, it releases ALL of it's basic pheromone chemicals all at once, which is the signal to other ants to _avoid this area!_ Squish away, but just don't touch your eyes, as the acid that some household ants use as a defense can cause minor irritation of the mucous membranes.

I had a seal fail on an engine once upon a time, and the oil in the crankcase got churned up with water from the coolant system. The resulting emulsification was extremely thick and goopy, and it looked exactly like cappuccino, the sexiest beige-brown color I've ever seen.

Jeannie, the egg thing does work. But if you drop em from the air, they all dont have the same weight inside so they wont necessarily fall properly. You just gotta firmly tap it on a flat surface and then quickly grab it up and break it open. It works every time.

If your dog is shitting in your house, you have to train her. It doesn't take long. Take away her food and only feed her at certain times. After she eats, wait about 20 minutes and then put her outside in the yard, and don't let her in until she's done her business. It only took about a day or two for my dog to associate the outside with that, and now she can eat whenever she wants and asks for the door when she has to go. I doubt they'll ever see this though.

I would have thought the sun thing would have been obvious. In Asian culture, lighter skin is a sign of higher social class. For instance, on the rare occasion that the emperor would go outside, he walked around with people next to him holding shade umbrellas, while the peasants working in the fields from sun rise to sunset obviously had darker skin. I mean a lot of Asian women commonly use skin lightening creams, when white people will go to a tanning salon or these days more likely will go for a fake tan. It comes down to social perceptions and what people think looks good and feels healthy, rather than the ageing thing.

That egg tricks works. Just drop the egg from a foot high onto a plate. I did it with a dozen eggs. I actually think 14 inches is the correct distance to drop the eggs from but really it’s all guesswork since you are winging it and not measuring. Don’t try for higher or you’ll probably make a mess and you’ll have more trouble than it’s worth.
