He was legit trying to get into the vegan dieting and starting with baby steps and they shamed him for it. They shamed him for not being "vegan enough." And Erin made this EXTREMELY easy for the mole by persecuting a guy who was just trying his best. She probably don't understand cause she don't use butter or whatever vegans use as a substitute. That's the first thing that made me wanna check out. Erin's that person at A.A. who always wants to be the first one to speak, then never shuts up, even when it's other people's turn. They just sit there and huff and puff and mutter, with occasional outbursts. She'll then complain about the snacks and drinks, but will never volunteer to bring any, cos she brought a ton of awful hipster crap once, that no-one touched, and she's still mad that not one person tried her homemade kale and broccoli blondies.

I recently became a dietary vegan (6 mo) and when people ask why I went vegan, I jokingly say, “so I can act superior,” because Erin is the stereotypical vegan.

I don’t think Erin was playing the same game as everyone else. She was trying to prove she’s the elite vegan not trying to find the mole.

And the only thing that makes Nerds not ENTIRELY vegan is that the facility in which they are made may process eggs as well, so because of allergy concerns they have to mention that. However they are most likely vegan in reality.

Even if it wasn’t vegan, most vegans (at least the online communities I’ve been a part of) would just say “well that sucks, at least we all know for next time” the purpose of veganism is to reduce animal suffering as much as practical and possible, and if you mess up, you’re still vegan, since you’re still working towards that goal. That chick was just a fucking annoyance.

@@miss2000varietyshow Honestly though, if someone stops eating meat and dairy, that's basically enough. I'm vegan but I don't think you can realistically expect the average person to go through a detailed analysis of every single product they happen to buy on a daily basis. I don't even think vegans do that anyway, there's sweat shops and stuff, most of the clothes and products we buy are completely unethical, nobody, not even vegans, put in that amount of effort to be ethical. I think the overall point of not eating animals is good enough as far as veganism goes, but we all have to have our own personal spiritual evolutions as well - vegans in general need to stop eating junk food as well, a lot of vegans are still overweight and unhealthy.

@@aresdesiderata8959 Thank you! It is incredibly time consuming and expensive to not only be vegan but also make sure it's fully environmentally sound without exploiting any humans at the same time. I had some friends who went full on humanitarian, vegan and green. They spent millions. They were also survivalists so take that as you will.
