❤this was super fantastic to hear your opinion on this! I love a butt ton of metal and all the sub genres of it but I also was raised with a lot of rap so I have a real interest in fusing them so interestingly. I have to be super real about the metal community, for the most part they dont ever look at lyrics or break then down or translate it at all into any form of digested thoughts or feelings they just usually want the cHONky part and the BLEgh which I do like too but that is where I sift through and fi d the ones that say shit I like to hear. But I sometimes find that people who do a proper breakdown and just have some sort of musical knowledge and just general history of things ( like your harriet Tubman reference with wade in the water with Ren) , I find that reactors like yourself , or BP, and the avengers lol they put into a way that I cannot appreciate enough . You provide not just thoughtful points of interest but insight into the minds and hearts of a lot of artists that we would probably not pick up on completly. I cant remember the name dude of no resolve , the one with the turtle neck but I know that band is from France, he sings so well and good growls, he has good collaborations with landmvrks( another french metalcore band) , as do Zelli from paleface swiss, he is a very fast start and stop ,like a staccato growl scream flow. Paleface is from Switzerland, he has some crazy videos but are really good, all gym tracks lol, and aaron from ten56 is from England, his rap growl, trap scream stands out from others that do something similar. Like some horrorcore sprankled on top of that lol. I feel like each person who uses harsh vocals is like s different radio frequency and you just have to listen enough (with lyrics of course lol) so you can be 'dialed in' to that frequency. Kinda like lorna shore, their lyricism is out of this universe, as well as the music they make alongside , holy crap. Their 1st song in the pain remains trilogy, lyrically, has made officially into a baby and the beauty of the words makes me ugly cry like kim Kardashian LOL.This was so fantastic I cant thank you enough zack, truly made the rest of my night special!
