Has anyone noticed that new and young singers are going back to the 60's70's and 80's songs? I was a lucky teenager in the 60's and got to see it. Love it.

yes.that's what makes a true artist.singing into a mic,and then having the sound engineers pimp the vocals up is something anyone can do.but stand in front of an audience and sing into a mic,without the chance to sing bad passages again until it's good,and not just to sing, but to take people with you... that is high art. and angelina is the high priestess of this art.

Part of the appeal she has to the older generations (I'm 80) is that she's singing the songs our parents listened to on the old, wood-cabinet Phiilco radio during and after WWII.

Angelina sounds incredible in this performance even tho this is her second time having to sing this song as their were technical difficulties as well as very windy conditions but Angelina has no problems still delivering even tho this must have been very demanding vocally . she has just released a music video in studio recording of this same song and it is mind boggling .love your passion schnell .

I love both this live version & her recent studio version, but this is the 1st time I prefer the studio version. I usually prefer her live performances, but then this was the 2nd take with only a minute or two between the 2. Apparently there was a technical problem with the recording of the first, so they asked her to immediately sing it again.

Thanks Schnell. Yes, She is a powerhouse. Rob Christie from Republic Record, who have taking care and played for Angelina since she signed, calls her "our powerhouse". This was the first of Angelina's 4 concerts in Norway. In the remaining 3 she ended with this song. At the last concert she dedicated the song to her grandmother Mery. I find it impressive with the variety of genres she sang at the concerts. It's exciting what Angelina comes up with on her new album. ❤

She only ended the last concert with this song. I think that is was decided rather late, the band used the soundcheck before the concert to rehearse the song, so we the audience was so lucky to hear the song 3 times.

I Have Nothing is a famously challenging iconic song. By singing this song 3 times in live concert and 1 time in studio so authoritatively, Angelina is making this song her signature. I am an Angleina fan of an older generation and appreciate her song selection of so many classics. But I am also becoming a fan of Daneliya Tuleshova, who tends to cover more contemporary singers such as Aurora. Two 16 year old superstars in the same generation. We have so much to look forward to.

Unfortunately TV 2 appears to have processed the broadcast master by, I believe, -24 LUFS (sometimes KZread will also process a video by -13 to -15 LUFS) and also looks to have downgraded the dynamic range a little. Phenom? Sorry, but few have an ear to hear and Angelina would not even make the cut if trying out for my HS. choir. And that was 45 years ago. She cannot sing on pitch to save her life. Good thing in her favor is, her pitch is better than Taylor Swift. She is the worst ever. If not for auto tune, she would not have a record deal. Just saying. She may have fans but none of them can hear.
