The monkey is weak to ice. You have to consider that when comparing pure numbers. I think the fire and poison aoe attacks are the best for dps.

These look very cool. I'm actually enjoying the QoL changs A LOT over the release and DLC mechanics. The universal double spirit gauge alone opens up gameplay where I'm now able to do many many many spirit attacks chained into one another along with the occasional spell intertwined and it make combat much more engaging. Many weapons now have a "perfect" blue parry that awrds more spirit, enemies stay in stun longer to allow for more punishment/combos, most Martial Arts have had their start up increased to make them more usable...etc. They really made a TON of changes that really opens up the gameplay and evolves it more from attack, attack, defect..etc, into a more combo heavy experience like in Nioh or SoP. My one wish for changes in the final DLC is that they introduce a mechanic to cancel out of longer Martial Arts, like using some spirit cancel to back to neutral, this alone will make longer Martial Arts much more viable and make combat even more engaging. Overall I'm very much enjoying these new changes and I have not even gotten to that actual DLC 2 content yet, as I made a new character focused around dual swords and fire damage (Scorpion from MK build). I personally still enjoyed SoP and Nioh more but this is good to see their still dedicated to send this game off in a good direction heading towards their final DLC. I'm much more excited to see how DLC3 will pan out now after the amount of changes this patch/DLC brought.

They are dropped by certain demons and characters when you beat them. Check the in-game Encyclopedia section and press Triangle or Y on characters/demons that have a white T mark next to their names to see which ones they drop. Be prepared to farm certain bosses a lot for them. I recommend using a LUCK build. I have a +430 LUCK build and most bosses drop them between 5 to 10 fights, some just refuse to drop them. Like the 1st boss, I beat him like 20 times before he decided to drop his tomes. Good luck!

Wtf? That wood spell the grafting strike? Yeah its giving 50-ish% hp back. The other wood spell that do the same thing give like 10% hp back i want that spell lol

@hayrhambalogun7683 if you go and check under the demon/character directory, it'll say check hidden tomes. That's where it tells you about the hidden spells and you must be on and above the Path of the rising dragon to farm these

@@hayrhambalogun7683 These spells (and the ones introduced in DLC 1) are rare drops from certain named characters. You can check who drops which spell in the character directory.

Ice and Metalic weapon spikes are cool rest especially wood are meh

Heavenly Quake/Earth Rain is OP man! You can spam 2 at neutral spirit, or 3 with stacked Earth Spell Spirit Reduction stats and it kills most enemies and does a lot of damage to tankier ones. It stun locks small enemies. You can use it as an AOE clear. You can use it behind walls to hit enemies inside houses and stuff. Use it on enemies on roofs to hit them where the rocks spawn. Spam them after a Fatal Strike on bosses or big demons and it does a shit ton of damage during their get up animations.

The Earth spells are awesome. Earth was already really op for me too

BRO! What is wrong with the spells in this game? You can throw a barrage of lightning and deal 0 Damage. But try using Ice spells and all of a sudden you’re the God of Wo Long.

You have to kill bosses to obtain the spells. Check your character info pages to find out which boss drops which spell
