Fox O&O WNYW Channel 5 signs off for the night. The Star Spangled Banner video features shots of scenes across the Tri-State Area, and uses the audio from the Flag Evolution SSB. (The video has references to the station's old call letters, WNEW-TV, as well as its former owner, Metromedia.)

The theme of anchors away and star spangled banner still there.
The announcer was the late Ed Ladd.
This video of WNYW TV had to be either from March or April 1986!

Given the first few seconds are the tail end of the same Easter message WNEW ran the previous year (kzread.info/dash/bejne/omSYrpOHYavceM4.html) I'd say this ran on the morning of March 30, 1986.
Formerly WNEW 5.
This must have been right after the Metromedia-to-Fox transition.
