To celebrate Welsh National Opera’s 75th anniversary we take a walk through history, from the Company’s humble origins in Llandaff, Cardiff to our current home at Wales Millennium Centre. WNO Chorus re-trace WNO’s journey, culminating in a stunning performance of Easter Hymn from our first ever production, Cavalleria rusticana, on the Donald Gordon Stage with soloist Camilla Roberts joining the full forces of the Chorus and Orchestra conducted by James Southall. As the voices reach a crescendo we reflect on our history and look forward to the future.

Goodness! It's magnificent! I have known the piece for as long as I can remember. But this rendition under James Southall is something else. The Welsh Opera is fantastic.
Our choir is doing this next month and I just love it! So inspiring! Beautiful job.

Only repentence and turning away from sin for Salvation will allow The Holy Spirit of Peace to dwell in us, in our body which is The Temple for God's Love to dwell... Is sounds good but they got the Italian style wrong, it's too much hoom-pah-pah.
i am an amateur singer but had the chance to sing this with a very competent choir . i was petrified but absolutely loved it.
