It is amazing how many people listen to American music. Rockabilly, Boogie Woogee, and Jazz of all types. This music is the origin of every type of Rock & Roll you hear. Every song used in this competition was originally recorded in the 1950’s. Every song was very controversial back in the day. Now considered modern classical music. I still hate that Rap music is even a thing that some people appreciate. Rockabilly, Boogie Woogee, and Jazz are musical styles that you must have developed your voice for singing and have learned to actually play a musical instrument. To have a devoloped skill of how to make a Harmony, Beat, Rhythm, and, Melody. It is nice that the entire world appreciates Rockabilly and Boogie Woogee too.

I've seen the couple on the far right( in the beginning) in so many videos of competitions and they always have great energy and kill it everytime even when they make mistakes

There's Boogie Woogie, Lindy, Jive, and it goes on from there. Others out there would be more knowledgeable than me about dance history. Suffice to say it's one of the greatest dance forms ever. Think about what you're seeing really means, in terms of athleticism, cleverness, choreography, sexiness, raging hormones and fun, and super connectedness between partners, which is ultimately the most important thing! Oh, by the way, notice all the postings here......some more languages than just English........... as it should be! Thanks to all who love this stuff as much as I do for posting comments.

Tova V Boogie Woogie, jive, lindy, etc..... all got started in America in the 1930’s. Some in Harlem, others elsewhere in the U.S. my parents loved to dance to this as did most kids growing up during that era... we learned it in school in dance class during the 1960’s... now... I just see other countries copying it from old movies, etc... don’t see it much here anymore which is sad. It is a lost art! I LOVE that people from other countries appreciate it and are bringing it back.... melts my heart!

There's Boogie Woogie, Lindy, Jive, and it goes on from there. Others out there would be more knowledgeable than me about dance history. Suffice to say it's one of the greatest dance forms ever. Think about what you're seeing really means, in terms of athleticism, cleverness, choreography, sexiness, raging hormones and fun, and super connectedness between partners, which is ultimately the most important thing! Oh, by the way, notice all the postings here......some more languages than just English........... as it should be! Thanks to all who love this stuff as much as I do for posting comments.

Tova V Boogie Woogie, jive, lindy, etc..... all got started in America in the 1930’s. Some in Harlem, others elsewhere in the U.S. my parents loved to dance to this as did most kids growing up during that era... we learned it in school in dance class during the 1960’s... now... I just see other countries copying it from old movies, etc... don’t see it much here anymore which is sad. It is a lost art! I LOVE that people from other countries appreciate it and are bringing it back.... melts my heart!

They dont choose the music. Its all freestyle. Thats the special thing in boogiewoogie competition

@@jakubkalian3325 im competing myself and i personally know them. So i can say you its not a choreography. They have prepared figures. But how they place it is completely random or should i say depending on the song they get.
