I'm pretty sure they're geared the same. I can get the rlaarlo 17t pinion and adjustable motor mount for amx12 and it's a direct fit and it allows you to adjust your gearing

First upgrade the esc. Transmitter and reciever. Start there. The servo saver is not great so I went with fixed servo horn.

@@leonrawautomotivedetails5785 hobbywing bl30 is a good esc , flycolor 45amp is another one I use. Transmitter I would go with the new Dumbo rc mini with reciever. Everything listed is below $30. Just do one at a time if your on a budget.
