I really enjoy watching your budget friendly videos Its interesting to see whats on the other side of the spectrum .I used to think enjoyment came from my X Maxx , Kraton 8s , UDR , Typhon in many others i have in my collection . However after watching about a half dozen of your budget friendly videos i gave in and purchased one that was easy on the pocket . I picked up a ECX Amp 2wd buggy and i have to be honest its a blast to drive . With a few upgrades such as , brushless motor , new esc , along with a set of tires and wheels i had laying around , this little buggy rocks . Its incredible durable , and i love the fact the body fits tight to the chassis so it dosent collect much if any dirt and other debris . Dont believe you have any videos up with the ECX line but its worth a go at least in my opinion . Then again i dont think theres a RC vehicle out there that ive tried that hasnt brought some form of enjoyment . Keep up the good work , love all your content

I've seen a few reviews for this little car, and they all seem to be more positive than for the 12 series! Any idea if this has some of the same issues that have to be sorted asap, like grease in the diffs, the hinge pin holders on the rear, causing too much toe in, etc? The front end looks like it has a lot of toe out, as well? I love the colours on this, and would definitely have looked at one of these to run with my 144001 for my son, but he's just got a new truck for his birthday. Great test, as usual. Looks really composed going through the air, I was a little surprised by that. It seems like a good beginner platform for people new to the hobby as you said. Glad you pointed out the difficulty with the screws and the potential to strip them out. It's always good to know such things especially when you're ordering online and have no point of reference as in store purchases that you can actually speak to a sales person or someone who is familiar with the product. Great review!

Yeah stripped 144001 screws those things must be glued in their. Real pain to loosen I feel ya man.

I think it might be superglue... we are probably lucky 2 part epoxy is more expensive and takes longer to use!

I have spent the last month looking for my first RC car, and the "good" brands are way more, not a little bit more. These come at a price where if it is destroyed by my 6yo i will not be too upset.

Suggest a decent alternative to this in the comments that's not much more! I am looking for a 2nd kid friendly monster truck & a lot of others would appreciate it too.. I cant find any that are not 150% of the cost or more. I used to run kyosho and mardave cars (90s and early 2000s) but dont see the need to pay 3x the price for the extra quality unless I'm racing
