    Watched it all the way through. The main difference i saw between rebound/no rebound is that the bounce effecect by spring color is similar, with the no the chassis in my eyes seemed to bottomed out until the stiffer spings were used. On the stiffer spings the bounce back is more and the rebound/no rebound shock is barely noticeable if at all! Thanks for the videos!

    Cool input, i seen abit more difference once I had both to look at after part 1. Each person could come with different conclusions i just put it together. One suggestions is try for your self it opened my eyes a little. rebound for me takes the win across the board. Keeps the car upright with weak springs and lessons the spring rebound with heavy springs. There's way more to talk about with shocks,piston holes, ect.

    Awsome video and the way u talk is funny makes me laugh in good way dude not taking mic also my opinion is softer springs Heavier weight oil and u want car to droop alittle so the wheel can go down if there a dip ideas when ur car is going along u the want chassis to stay as still up and down ways as possible let the shocks work just my thoughts as when there's no droop the car is bouncy . Great video soz about grammar

    Sod grammar it's not the school ground and you laugh all you want mate it's good for your health haha. I think your set up would be good for an on road car. And your bang on, the car needs to try stay level while the suspension does the work. I was thinking of another test but I keep running into things, don't ask that's all I'm saying other than it would of made people laugh. Cheers for the comment and input always appreciated

    With stock springs, thicker oil about 800cst, set with half a small amount of rebound, then crank the tension collar all the down. Or buy stronger springs, then use 500cst have the shock set with no rebound and adjust the tensioncollar how you like it.

    I appreciate you sharing. Do you have any idea what springs I might need for my twin motor, 2 escs, and 2 3000 mAh 3s batteries? I have nothing to weigh it on, but I would think it's about 1/3 heavier than a single brushless with 1 battery.

  • @mehimrc1314

    @mehimrc1314

    3 жыл бұрын

    That's a bloody good question to ask, taking my ramblings into account. The back is the heaviest by far likes to squat, you've got 2 motors so just say double to weight there. The lay out of your car looks balanced, ESC together in the middle, batteries either side... Not having the car to feel is a killer really to answer. Personally just an opinion,, I'd definitely have a heavier spring in the rear, by the time the power kicks in it'll squat down a little. Unless you put bump stops on the shock shafts, you could use a medium spring like the red. It's your choice dude I just put the video together so people can see what the effects are. I use this RC set up guide from competition X . And have now a car setup that works well for me. I had originally had it like yours, used the droop screws to lower it to much and cranking all the preload down. I set the droop just above my desired ride hight then fine adjust it with the spring preload , removing to lower it adding to raise it , having it like that gives the car so much better handling . Any slight bump it keeps all four wheels on the floor and stays stable and tracks straight . www.competitionx.com/rc-tuning-guide/

Saying "add these, do this" sounds like I'm just telling people rather than giving them the option to choose with information.
