Here's the complete broadcast of an edition of AM Chicago from WLS Channel 7, with host Robb Weller and guests Steve Dahl and Garry Meier, and critic at large John Callaway. This was during the period when the show only ran 30 minutes.

    Okay, I was a big Steve and Gary fan in the 80’s. This is weird. A discussion of death? And why is Steve wearing an ironic BMW cap? He bought a BMW X5 in later life?

    I think it’s because Marcus Palmer had just died and John Belushi about two months prior.

    @@FuzzyMemoriesTV Steve and Gary on WIND had a few genius moments, but Steve Dahl just ruined it with his “chip on my shoulder attitude.”

    My father was a vey well known tv producer during this time in Chicago. He kicked Steve Dahl out of his office because Steve disrespected his employees, especially women. That was the kind of individual Steve was.
