@@robh1780 , no Not at the churches that I have attended. Far from it.
I feel this guy. When I was a jock we ran programs like this on Sundays.
This was the last episode to air in the first season of WKRP in Cincinnati, June 4, 1979, original airdate. So I was just 11 days old when this originally aired, but I grew up watching the reruns in the mid 1980’s when ASN aired them in Atlantic Canada.

I loved this show.. This episode was a classic.. To bad shows like this are not around anymore.. The one part I loved is when Arthur Carlson was on the exercise bike and when Little Ed burst open the door and yelled, "Mr. Carlson", Arthur started riding faster in an attempt to get away from him on a stationary bike... LOL Also on a side note: The scene where Little Ed had Arthur's arms bend to the chair and Arthur was struggling to get his arms free, that still cracks me up!!!
Steak knives!
Reverend little Ed Pembroke. Do you know why they called him little Ed? Because his wife was Big Ed. One of the best episodes. They had excellent writers.
Very few are like that. They speak the truth.
Andy: "Why do they call him Little Ed" Venus: "Because his wife is Big Ed"
I love that song! Especially the "oh yeah" at the end.
Don't forget Reverend Little Ed's the world is coming to an end lawn furniture.

"They're downstairs waitin' for me in the Hawn-duh."
Show the whole show!
This episode was hilarious! The Reverend Ed Pembrook told Andy Travis that he was going to a "higher authority." Johnny Fever responded, "You mean you can actually SEE Him (God)?" Reverend Pembrook: "The manager who runs this station!" Pembrook sees Carlson on an exercise bike and says aloud, "Mr. Carlson!" Carlson peddles faster as Reverend Pembrook intones ominously, "You can run but you can't hide!" Absolutely funny scene. Was the actor who played Reverend Ed Pembrook Michael Keenan? Was he in other shows? He looks familiar.

Yes. The same MTM Production Company was in charge of this and "Hill Street Blues." Michael Keenan later Guest Starred on that Legendary Cop Show.🤔😉🎤👮♂️📻📺B.W.
