Great product, had my eye on it but ended up buying a different gun. The difference in height between the two rails does look a little weird, but i guess the handguard could be upgraded too.

@@Jake23115i have it, its a nice piece.. However a different gas system than the 556 and as a result slightly different issues however some people seem to put thousands of rounds through without problem and others have failures right off the get-go all I know is the breaking. is a certainty with these line of rifles even the Gen2s. I got the 7.62 X39 because I can then share ammo with my SKS. 14 the Bush and 1 forbthe inevitable push. If you've got the 1.5 K it's not a bad decision and works with all AR parts aside from the fact that it only accepts AK mags. And being in Canada because of the pistol magazine loophole it is difficult to find AAK Meg that holds 10 rounds as there are to the Best Of my knowledge no Pistol magazines that hold 10 rounds of 762.. However if bad things come a 30rnd mag neutered to 5 with a tiny pin due to Canadian laws will hardly be a barrier. nuff said. i like my gen2 7.62, 3600 rnds through. Only issues so far were some screws that simply needed lock type and for me to have a better understanding of the inner workings as well as some parts that I chose to upgrade. Such as the trigger mechanism for a lighter pull as the standard pull is roughly 7 pounds or so ,as well as optics, Bipod and forend lower grip etc. One thing that does mildly annoy me however insignificant is the fact that a traditional trigger lock will not properly seat over the trigger guard as the paddles for the AK Mag release stop this.

That's because as is they are ridiculously overgassed. A very reliable functioning rifle until parts break which doesn't take long. A TNA adjustable gas valve helps a bit, still is overgassed with the TNA valve shut right off but it is better than the factory valve.
