Love this video...and good call out on the eotech.....I was scratching my head trying to figure it out back when. Great video, I appreciate the attention to detail so that folks who may not have a lot of experience with the swap see how easy it is. Been waiting for more of your content so keep it coming!!!!

Enjoy!
Upper looks awesome. But the fact that the Upper and handguard pic rails dont line up height wise sets the OCD off.
Nice! Would you guys ever consider doing your logo hit in black?
This is dope, is there one for the 181?
Great product, had my eye on it but ended up buying a different gun. The difference in height between the two rails does look a little weird, but i guess the handguard could be upgraded too.

It's really not that bad when you look at it up close
Looks great! Will True North Arms be releasing a WK181C style multi-part piston for the Gen 1 and Gen 2 WK180 to solve the piston snapping issue?

TNA Should make a hand guard that matches the TNA enhanced upper , make it so it matches those squared edges as well.

Great idea and I'm sure they are working on it
ya i was dissapointed that my buis wouldnt fold down cus of how fat that upper is, maybe ill have to look into replacing with that tna upper.
I just purchased a WK and am interested in that upgraded/ enhanced upgrade. But I can’t find it on TNA’s website. Do you know if it is still available?
Ive seen so many issues with these on Reddit. I wanted to get one for my first rifle but ended up getting an SKS and Type 81 instead.

@@Jake23115i have it, its a nice piece.. However a different gas system than the 556 and as a result slightly different issues however some people seem to put thousands of rounds through without problem and others have failures right off the get-go all I know is the breaking. is a certainty with these line of rifles even the Gen2s. I got the 7.62 X39 because I can then share ammo with my SKS. 14 the Bush and 1 forbthe inevitable push. If you've got the 1.5 K it's not a bad decision and works with all AR parts aside from the fact that it only accepts AK mags. And being in Canada because of the pistol magazine loophole it is difficult to find AAK Meg that holds 10 rounds as there are to the Best Of my knowledge no Pistol magazines that hold 10 rounds of 762.. However if bad things come a 30rnd mag neutered to 5 with a tiny pin due to Canadian laws will hardly be a barrier. nuff said. i like my gen2 7.62, 3600 rnds through. Only issues so far were some screws that simply needed lock type and for me to have a better understanding of the inner workings as well as some parts that I chose to upgrade. Such as the trigger mechanism for a lighter pull as the standard pull is roughly 7 pounds or so ,as well as optics, Bipod and forend lower grip etc. One thing that does mildly annoy me however insignificant is the fact that a traditional trigger lock will not properly seat over the trigger guard as the paddles for the AK Mag release stop this.
I want to change the handguard to the TNA one, but I don't know how to swap the barrel nut. Do you a video about change the barrel nut?

Maybe check our first WK180 upgrade video, but it's not that difficult. Contact True North arms and they will help you out!
Thanks for the video. I really want to see this new part in practice. The question is, will this really solve the reliability issues of the WK180-C Gen 2?

I have a gen 1 rifle, is there any benefits to getting the gen. 2 rifle or just upgrade my gen 1,,I like the dust cover, since I own an AR15 Colt ,,it maybe gone due to Gov. buyback, so,,,whats your opinion,?. Thanks

The brass bushing and proper rigid maintenance (cleaning, oiling, tightening) and never had an issue. Some go the extra mile and get a adjustable gas block but I don’t see the need personally

That's because as is they are ridiculously overgassed. A very reliable functioning rifle until parts break which doesn't take long. A TNA adjustable gas valve helps a bit, still is overgassed with the TNA valve shut right off but it is better than the factory valve.

As long as you do not have to use it for military purpose or for some crazy training this upgrade is useless.

Why does TNA have to brand their parts, it looks so shitty and they should be lowering the cost or paying us to advertise for them.
