I wish that KMOV-TV (CBS 4) should return its ownership to CBS/Paramount, and then have a new addition to become: CBS NEWS SAINT LOUIS.

very delicate. It's time for WJZ CBS 13 to upgrade into these CBS O&O graphics plus they should add a box around the CBS 13 logo around it.

Knowing 'JZ, it'll probably NEVER happen in a million years, but this is Still pretty damn good.

WJZ TV set is nearing 20 years old, maybe older. All of the TV markets in Baltimore and even Washington DC have had at least one or two set changes since WJZ changed their set.

Well done, wish you can do a mock for CBS 6 in Orlando. WKMG

I never thought of this, but no one thought of it either, how bout a mock opening of WCAU-TV Channel 10 like if they were still owned and operated by CBS, getting close to their original CBS number logos, or something new like most CBS owned stations have already with their numbers. It would be the CBS Eye, the 10, and NEWS beneath the eye and the number. As far as pictures go, you’d start out with the art museum with the skyline in the background, then Independence Hall, and finally a view of the skyline from the Schuylkill River.

How do you create these??

There’s talk that this might actually happen. There’s a new GM at the station and they’re slowly adding mandate style elements to promos now.

How about "Live from our studios in Baltimore this is WJZ Eyewitness News Maryland's News Station" Personally I agree WJZ needs to get with it and adapt the CBS Graphics and Enforcer Music

Agreed! I have been watching them for YEARS.

CBS O&O's just got new openings/graphics a few weeks ago.

Agreed it's time JZ changed to the new CBS look, however I know a few people who work there and the reasoning they won't change is CBS has done research that says the Baltimore audience doesn't want it. So they rather keep updating the now 20+ year look vs. change to the modern CBS-mandate look.

I've heard that as well. I could live with updated graphics or even customized graphics for WJZ with a hint of the O&O graphics to it. With Chroma Cues, I don't see that going away. A new set would be great.

+news89 heres another idea. keep chroma cues for opens but O&O for all other graphics like some FOX O&Os do. but knowing WJZ its very likely they wont do that anytime soon like most stations even some O&Os that prefer in-house looks than O&O mandates.

whatever research WJZ did they should burned the documents and should go ahead make many changes including new sets/ graphics....I don't buy that the audience doesn't like change...I think K.Robertson and the news diretor doesn't want to spend the $$$ on updating the station packing....while many tv stations have evolved...JZ is stuck in a time warp...BAL will be the better station in the market....I think CBS will not make them do the mandate, because they have high ratings....

+Korie Rose I've heard that reasoning on other sites, but WJZ will never evolved and for good business pratices...WJZ has always had good ratings, but WBAL seems to pass WJZ every sweeps period...It has to be just a matter of time before CBS comes in makes them change, and if WBFF FOX 45 surpass WJZ for second place then there a problem...It just mind-boggling...

Most CBS O&O stations had this variant as the intro, including KYW, WCBS, and KCBS

It looks like KCNC Morning intro to me. But overall, it's awesome.

Dang. I should learn how to make intros like this...

Great open for WJZ-TV Baltimore. It should be the same theme for WTVR-TV Richmond and WHP-TV Harrisburg.

Can you do an ABC O&O graphics mock for WXYZ-TV of Detroit? I’d like to see what ABC graphics pack they would be using today if they were to still be owned by the network.

Can you do a WUSA 9 DC graphic opening if they were a CBS O&O instead of just being a CBS affiliate? You would need a new 9 obviously

This would shock me if this happened. I've lived in Baltimore for 13 years and wjz is pretty loyal to their red purple and yellow color scheme

There new set will finished on August9 of this year.

Looks like they're finally phasing in this branding package
