I've checked out a lot of ambiences over the last year and this one remains my favorite. I keep coming back to it often so that I can pretend to be a magical scholar working with some important, precious scrolls rather than a psychology student writing her assignments in my room with no view. I like to imagine, when I sleep/nap to this, that I'm some sort of creature or cursed person the wizard is pleasantly studying and brewing something to help. or that I'm a friend/adventuring ally and just taking a nap while he works.

Not too many comments and I am a year late but I’ll say this and go. I love fantasy settings like this one. A wizard tower with all his books and magical tools. It’s night he might even have a telescope for astronomy. These things just give me a feeling of coziness and I don’t know why.

I just read "Uprooted" and this was the perfect soundscape for it! I still love this ambience video, as it is the perfect soundtrack for cooking - being clumsy and oversalting the soup suddenly has some atmosphere of magic it never had before ...

This has absolutely every sound I like, perfectly put together so that it doesn't feel too repetitive. And the voice was the cherry on the cake. Thanks! I immediately subbed

Thanks! :D I use Steinberg Cubase as my audio program and the sounds I either record myself or I get them from sound libraries (mainly Boom).
