I like that you show full runs and not only compiliations of you rocking. It's much more authentic.

Wizard is good in solos, but people including myself hated it when the barb and cutthroat meta was around. It was exhausting to play when half the lobby were cutthroat rogues and max MS barbs. Wizard feels fine this wipe imo

What do you do against panthers?

I think Wiz just needs new perks already, the last thing we got was Bonk but I want more utility perks. Something like getting +50% buff duration so your haste/invis will last longer on yourself without buffing buff ball. Or a perk where when you have Orb equipped you get 100% scaling on Ignite (Dagorb returns)

Icebolt w ice mastery actually slams panther. Easy to land headshots with them running at you too. Been dropping haste for icebolt and running overload

As a wizard main from the beta coming back to the steam f2p I am so glad you made this guide bro thanks! Wizard has seem to changed a lot since the beta. Glad to see wizard is viable as a solo f2p class since thats mostly what I been playing. Currently lvl 6 with him now.

will is good but only if you have enough Knowledge to pair with it. Without the cast speed you will feel weak

I managed to make a nice 10 spell build with spell overload. Literally had to go all knowledge and additional memory capacity but its so nice too have almost double of all 10 spells.

even just the epic fireball explosion in pvp is worth playing him, players dodge it like headless chickens and panic the hell out xD

Ice Bolt is probably THE MOST slept on THING in the entire game currently. With ice mastery - ice bolt reduces the targets movespeed so much that the total value of movespeed lost for the enemy is actually GREATER than the movespeed value you gain from haste. Zap, Magic Missile, Fire Ball, Ice Bolt, and Invis is my setup. Ice Bolt is the replacement for haste and completely halts W key classes. Combine that with spell overload, and you have 8 ice bolts for a rediculous amount of stunlocking on the barbarian that wants your ass. TDLR: Ice Bolt is basically the same thing as haste, but it also does damage.

I do think it's weak. It's not just about the nerfed damage potential, but also the previous increased time to kill. Warlocks and barbarians are 2 classes that counter wizard pretty well and they're both extremely popular classes. Warlocks have insane health recovery and barbarians are just thick as hell. It'd take several spells to kill them with the way wizard is currently. Just my opinion anyways.

Wizard was my first class and i love it however i have never really been able to assemble a good kit for wiz. I am not even looking for bis just more optimized do you think you could put out like a build video for 10 spell vs spell over load. If you have the time or are interested in that at all.

@@darkeldunari6744 yeah wiz is a little weird rn with how much knowledge you need. If I’m going caster wiz you want 42-46 knowledge, 300ms minimum, 120ish hp and like 40% magic power. Wiz just doesn’t feel as good as it once did, warlock isn’t technically the better caster rn but you can still go crazy on wiz

yeah you do gotta hit more spells but i play more naked wizard than i do super geard so it feels basically the same. but you tank like one more hit and thats everything baby

High casting speed/knowledge and your casting implement determines missle speed as well, with book being fastest (or tied with Orb)

Damn dude you already sold your soul to the goblins😂 love to see new players join the dungeon and get hooked. I ve been trapped in the goblin cave for over 2000 hours and i wonder if my family is still alive. I think i had a job back in the days of sunlight. Nah fr this game is the best one we got for years. The amount of laughs and adrenaline we pumped out is crazy. Hope you have a great time playing and if you have any questions fell free to ask because this game doesnt give new players any info :D

Druid is the most fun class in the game and i tried them all. Its such a well made class. Sure i know it sucks to play agaibst ut but dude once sou go rat you never go back😂 been having a blast with this class. And i rly recommend everybody to play druid and learn his weaknesses

ye sry, im rly not sold, your first go was kinda how my last 30 pvp encounters were wizard is so bad. like, if they made the buffs last twice, and you had no limits on the spells, it still would be lowkey bad. idk how can ppl say its good

500 gear score wizard barely making it against 150gold gears.

I don't agree that melee is just a stat check. There are 100 ways to outplay someone in melee, you can dodge, and angle your hits and a multitude of other things. I guarantee you high-skill low gear melee people could beat mid-high gear low-skill melee people.

Knowledge increases your spell casting speed will increases your dmg. The more casting speed you got the faster your magic missiles fly

And its better to focus on knowledge to have better dps than having that one vurst spell that you might miss in a fight. So try to prio knowledge into movespeed into will. A little hp on top never hurt😅

Magic missile stops casting when you move and the arcane mastery perk decreases your casting time by 0.5 secs.

​@@chrisawe010 perks: reactive shield, ice armor, fire mastery, staff mastery. Spells: fire ball, zap, ignite, haste, invisibility. You can change a couple things like drop reactive shield and take arcane mastery if you want magic missile and haste isn't a must take.

@@jesseholloway7714 can you explain fire mastery over arcane for solo? is it for the extra %5? cuz I know while it extends the burn DoT duration it doesn't actually add much to the burn DoT dmg, it's just spreads it out. wouldn't faster MM and Invis be better for solo?

@@if-not-now I'd say that's one of the changes you can make yea. Fire mastery will mostly be just for damage but hurts warlock druids a lot on their healing. Cleric too but they are easy anyways. I don't take magic missle so I don't get baited into trying to crutch/last resort it.

@@SirShadock the marketplace makes it so easy to buy a kit tho, you used to have to sit in trade channels and watch all the gear shit was fucking brutal lmao took 30-hour to build a kit

Panther has like 60 hp btw u can like 2 shot him with like 2 mm they are vary squishy

That video title is a meme right? The class might be decent in PvP but dealing with PvE and the fact that you have to rest/camp all the time makes the Wizard's gameplay horrible.

Wizard has so many more lines of play compared to all other classes that it truly isn't a meme. Just learn to bonk pve or be patient and melee them anyways. You won't be clearing like a barb but then again barbs can't can't cast ice bolt 8 times.

Wizard is just a worse solo warlock tbh
