WiZ New 2022 Smart Plug with Energy Monitoring, Bluetooth & MATTER Upgradable

WIZ has just released a new version of their Smart Plug, the new version has Energy Monitoring & Bluetooth, it should be upgradable to MATTER once the Home Standard is released. This is compatible with most of the popular smart platforms like, Google Hone, Amazon Alexa, Siri, IFTTT & Smartthings The smart plug is rated up to 2.3Kw.
**The WiZ app is glitchy majority of the time the power management is not showing , replacement does not even display energy monitoring**. As this is not fixed I cannot recommend this SmartPlug for Energy Monitoring.

i just got 3 at Currys they were £17 each but when he rang them up they came out at £9 each . i haven't had chance to try them yet . thanks for this video ill use it tomorrow

Does this run remotely? Like 10 miles away from home?
I have the wiz smart plug without Bluetooth and no problem with the app But I can’t control with Siri wiz says only Siri controls lights not smart plug Might try another plug
works with WiZmote?
I turned it on and used it for a water heater for 4 hours now. But i dont see any energy consumption. How long does it take for the graph to show Data?

The first plug i had took about 1 day but the plug was faulty, I get a replacement bit the energy reading NEVER showed up, so I returned the second plug, WIZ plugs are very unreliable.

The Wiz FAQ says that plugs built before October '21 don't have this feature.

I have the same problem. The energy consumption doesnt show anything. And i have used it for weeks.. What to do? Return it?

I would return, I just don't trust WIZ smartplug anymore, it way to unreliable. I had a replacement but sent that back as well. I would use a different brand. I'm waiting for MATTER to be released then I can purchases the EVE smartplug for Google Home or maybe more matter compatible smartplugs with energy monitoring will be released before Christmas?
Can just use Bluetooth without wifi?

No looks like WiFi only. Bluetooth only seems to be configuring not operating.

No the plug does not show up in Bluetooth setting.
