Wiz is my age and we’re both from Pittsburgh, our senior year of HS 2005-2006, his Myspace was blowing up locally and that’s how I learned of him. Our college years, I had some boys from DC/Baltimore that we’re catching onto Wiz and they put me onto Wale. When Wiz dropped Kush and OJ, you could see and feel that energy all throughout the city. It was a magical time. Being the same age as him too, he gave us anthems during our peak young adult years. My man Wiz, we all owe ya one!
