    :PPh3 has 2p-3p overlap, less stable, more reactive. :NPh3 has 2p-2p overlap, more stable, less reactive

    You're right. But to be more accurate, we can say 2p-2p overlap is more effective than 2p-3p. Effective overlap is better term than calling them stable or less stable

    Lone pair present on the nitrogen atom resonance with benzene..so nitrogen can not donate it's lone pair....2p_2p interaction....

    In wittig reaction,, if the phosphorus ylide is stabilised by sp3 hybridized group like CF3 , then the stabilising group will be non planar and steric interaction with ch3 group will take place. In this case which isomer will be formed, z- and E-?? Please explain

    I think that N have no d-orbital so if the ph3N attack on C then the reaction is not prossidior.. After the SN1 reaction the SN2 do not prossidior

    in NPh3 there is 2p-2p overlap of C and N. hence lonepair of N is not available for the attack. in PPh3 there is 2p-3p overlap of C and N, where overlap will be of less extent, hence PPh3 attacks not NPh3.

    Yes, in that video, I was considering that you're following Clayden and Carruthers both in your preparation. Like I had said to do pericyclic from Clayden, because the language of that book is easy and proper mechanisms are given. So for students who are self-preparing, Clayden should be the preference. Same is with Enolates, it's easier to do from Clayden.... Carruthers mein mechanism hi nahi given, but if you now see the videos of Carruthers Chapter 1, I've explained each reaction with its mechanism....so aap yahaan se bhi kar sakte hain

    I hv completed all the videos of carruthers series...i tried to solve all the reactions in this series on my own by pausing the videos time to time..and i m happy to share that most of the reactions i solved very easily just because of your hydrogen batch which i had joined...tumne itne achche se sab karaaya hua hai app mei ki ab tak yaad hai..( missing those days of app..jab har roz naye video ka intezaar rahta tha) organic ka o bhi nhi aata tha mujhe ( haalanki ye galatfahmi thi ki bdi achchi organic hai meri🤣🤣) par ab organic ke a tak to pahunch hi gyi hoon..c tak pahuncna chahti hoon .isliye pls aur videos upload karna is series ke, jab bhi tumhe time mile( because ye dil maange more😁),tumse achcha aur koi nhi padhaata. I m surprised to see ki kuch gadhe aise bhi hai jinhone videos ko dislike bhi kiya hua hai ..arey bhaiya ab jaan loge kya ladki ki...sab kuch itne achche se explain kiya to hai...Bahut saare you tube channel search kiye...but kuch mza sa nhi aaya...tum yaad kara deti ho sab kuch ..har cheez ka reason deti ho tum.aisa koi aur nhi karta ya ye kah lo ki mujhe samjh nhi aata....bus humesha aise hi rahna..aise hi sabki help karte rahna...bhagwaan tumhe khoob khush rakhe .saari ichchayein poori ho tumhaari ..may you live long ❤❤

    Ma'am good morning ,I have one question. Carbocation is planer but carbanion is pyramidal in shape and how can we exchange the two groups by keeping the PPh3 group in the same downward position.If suppose carbanion is planer we can exchange the two groups by keeping PPh3 grp. in the downward position by flipping,but the main case is it is pyramidal in shape.Please reply ma'am,I m waiting.❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏

    The word umpolung means "reverse of polarity".. suppose you have any organometallic reagents such as Ch3MgBr..here Carbon contain partially negative charge and metal contain partially Positive charge.. But we know carbon usually contain partially postive charge (CH3Br+ Mg in ether = CH3MgBR )..in reactant carbon contain partially postive charge but in product the polarity is reversed..this phenomenon is known as umpolung or reverse of polarity

    In :PPh³ their is empty d orbital so it easily give SN² reaction easily In case of :NPh³ d orbital is empty so SN² reaction is not possible ond N-Ylide is not formed

    Pph3 donate it's lp because of phosphorus which is attached to c is 3p 2p overlapping not possible so this is available for donations but In nitrogen 2p 2p overlapping is possible to delocalized in benzene ring
