some off topic thing- As you can see the situation for a civil graduate vs. cse . In CSE you can fetch 50LPA but for civil you heard. Thatswhy we rely on ESE exam , other various government exams and PSU. Now railway ( mass recruiter) has suspended GRADE A technical officer posts and IRMS is only limited to management posts that too via CSE exam. Life is just unfair for civil graduates. Hard times !

50 lakh can be for civil for iit not sure. Others has to suffer. Same for mechanical

Sir mechanical waale apply kar sakte hain aur agar karein toh kaun se module ke liye apply kar sakte hain. Agar B.Tech candidates seedhe PhD. Ke liye apply karte hain toh uske entrance ka syllabus kya hai aur PhD complete karne ke liye use 5 yrs lagegenge to woh next 5 yrs tak study karega ya part time jobs bhi kar sakta hai. Kya scope hai B.Tech se PhD karne waalon ke liye is par discuss kariyega.

Look, 1) Mtek is complete 2 years course fix & MS is 3 years ( we can also complete MS in 2 years that depends on us ). 2) In Mtek there should be some kind of therotical as well as practical ( project ) work. But in case of MS we will only deal with projects or practical kind of work.

I am already an M.Tech and a working professional. Can I do PhD remotely ?
