I will be joining this year.

I like the fact that SDSU players tend to be players whom love playing basketball mostly for the passion of it. I’m afraid that the more money that is given the more and more will be expected from players. I want to keep getting players who play mainly for the love and passion for the game.

I thought they set SDSU in UConn bracket on purpose. Feel we could have completed with any other team to get to elite 8.

i feel this too. they knew what they were doing putting us and fau in the same bracket as uconn.

Having enough money to pay players college tuition and room and board is reasonable. Anything beyond that should be appreciated but not expected. If a player wants more money they have the opportunity to sell their name, image and likeness to businesses and individuals. The college can help them do that on an individualized bases.

What should separate professional sports from college sports is that professionals should expect to make a living from their job of playing sports and college players should expect to get an education and opportunity to showcase their talent to professional teams to earn a job after college.

Donating money to a collective so they can play a game...? Your a fool.

Mesa can host giveaways for merch etc. to raise $$$, usually a good way to do that

You can select either men’s or women’s basketball.

I hate the name of NIl because the way it is set up it’s actually more like the standard booster club structure. NIl to me should be something each individual player earns through individual sponsorship either through businesses or individuals. Lamont getting money from Nekter Juice bar or players making money off of clothing with their name on it is what NIL should be constituted as and not one organization raising money for all the players.

Can someone please tell me where I can buy just a basic clean fitted black Aztecs hat with the Aztecs logo on the front and Nike symbol on the back?! Not the ugly one with the breathable holes in it. I’m just talking about one just like the authentic on field New Era baseball caps. I’ve looked everywhere online and they don’t seem to exist. Fanatics only has the Final Four one and that’s it smh

NIL money should not be money that is given to a player just for joining a team. It should be money earned by individual players who earn the interest from business or individuals who pay them for the use of their Name, Image and likeness.

I do not want players prioritizing making money over the value of education and college basketball playing environment. If they prioritize money and are good enough all ready they can now just join a D league.
