A nine-meter-long trailer promises the desired luxury. Slide-outs increase the living space in the stand. The trailers known from the USA cost from 90,000 euros without extras. They need a typical American pickup truck as a towing vehicle.
With their 13 meter long team, Britta and Andreas drive to rural western France. A road trip over 1,000 kilometers to the Atlantic is imminent. Your destination: The Île de Ré, also known as the Sylt of the Parisians. Here the couple wants to relax, unwind and taste the fresh oysters, but some surprises await them along the way.
In the Loire Valley they visit the famous Renaissance castle Azay-le-Rideau and are spontaneously invited to a wine tasting. With an old barge, the couple explores the green Venice of France, the Marais Poitevin - an idyllic stretch of land that is still largely unknown among German campers. On the campsite, Britta and Andreas not only experience being the only Germans, but also attract all the attention of the French with their extravagant vehicle.
