I personally think Merlina is more morally grey than that, in her mind what she's doing is a good thing, and some people could argue there isn't really anything wrong with what she was trying to accomplish. So there's my unwanted input, feel free to ignore me

I agree with what you guys have been saying, and I wanted to point out a cool detail; since Sonic knows he’s being a villain in her eyes, and he says that great line “I’ve just gotta do what I’ve gotta do, that’s all!” It’s really cool that his theme from SA1 starts playing. Not only because it’s iconic and the remix is awesome, what’s the song called? It Doesn’t Matter. Genius

@@Fire-kv9lg Nah totally agree, Sonic and Merlina's battle was a clashing of two views on how life should be. I think more people could understand Sonic's view because an end to life makes living your time to the best of your ability that much more important, and that much more special. However Merlina's view isn't necessarily incorrect, it is just a concept that we as mortal beings are alien to, and we are therefore more likely to deem them as wrong, especially in a polarizing context such as this, where our 'hero' is telling us to disagree with her view.

Sounds like something that may suit in Shadow The Hedgehog

I like to see the main version and this one as dual-sides of the conflict, neither Merlina or Sonic are really the hero or villain of this story, they're both just trying to do what they believe is right. Excellent stuff, I miss the Jason Griffith/Dark Age of Sonic stories.

In my opinion original is Merlina version, while Crush 40 represents the mind of one or two hedgehogs. In this case Crush 40 is Sonic

I love this game, dunno, sonic stories may be a little edgy, but are they are always interesting, like, in this game the climax of the story is basically a ideological clash between who think that the world should have and end, because it gives value to the time we have and someone who thinks that the world should be eternal, and everything, inmortal. pd: srry if I said something wrong, english isn´t my native language.

well,to be fair with dark queen,sonic is supposed to be unstoppable in this fight.but i cant get behind why sonic has to go into a superform for the majority of his other battles,just so that the boss is easy.i mean,for the timeeater it makes sence,because thats the only way sonic can move through the timecorridor......but thats the exception honestly

I disagree. Sure that's your opinion, but I think All Hail Shadow is made to be made by them. Sonic Boom is good too and His World Crush 40 is basically the Shadow Version, while Zebrahead and this third Version are Sonic and Silver.

CJ Shadow Nothing is any better just because people don't point out its flaws, '06 eradicated itself out of the canon and is still a flawed game, and only dumb 11 year olds say graphics make a game, Boom is just a terrible game and the graphics are just an added horrible aspect.
