@@russell10 sport isn’t sport when it’s so one sided. England can only play against what’s in front of them, I guess, but they’ve certainly benefited from huge subsidy (that means giving money for nothing) from the men’s game, men lost playing contracts and certain professional referees lost their jobs, in order to find that. But for gods sake don’t let feet get in the way of ideology.

@@kenrehill8775 I'm limiting my comments to yesterday. It is the best rugby I have seen England play in the last few years - it was fantastic attacking, quick rugby. I'm not sure there are any sides globally that would have been able to overcome them and compete on the pitch yday.

The England womens display against Ireland was awesome. Their speed of recycling the ball was off the scale.

Ask yourself this question. Would these pundits be saying this if it was Ireland in this position instead of England? Give me a break. The English women’s rugby team is awesome. It’s not their fault they’re so good. As with all sports, there is a dominant team/player. The England women’s rugby team happens to be the best in their format. You can either be jealous, envious or just admire how good the England women are. It’s your choice.

Exactly just your typical run of mill anti English racism and their pathetic jealousy. Women's rugby is in its infancy so some teams will always dominate. Same as all blacks and south Africa in men's who went professional way before everyone else. Just gotta admire the rugby. Take comfort that English are living rent free in their green eyed sputniks.

To be fair, they did say repeatedly that it’s not England’s fault, and that it’s not up to them to slow down.

They do all acknowledge that England are setting the standard, and repeatedly say that its up to the other nations to catch up. I want to see England win, but hard-fought wins in an evenly-matched contest would be even more exciting and better for the world game.

The real disappointment is Wales. 10 of the 35 they selected play for Gloucester Hartpury, who are coached by a welsh coach in Sean Lynn. They are comfortably the best club side in the world and they have a fair few welsh players. So to go from that, to what they've served up is absolutely unacceptable. I don't know if it's unaccountability, or poor coaching, or whatever it is. I'm not in the setup I wouldn't know. But no side or group of people go from playing with essentially the barcelona of women's club rugby and they play as Sheff Utd in the international game. It's just not correct and doesn't add up.

wales need new coaching and fitness staff thier forwards are just fat and unfit but they are investing in the mens team ..the womens head coach s living in dream world saying they are improving every match but losing them ..winning is an improvement not scoring a penalty as your only points

England's women are well ahead of the other home nations now. Good luck to them! ...The question is, is that driving up the standards in women's rugby generally? My answer would be, yes.
