I've been working on it on and off since 2017, when the first ideas were born, and even one riff is from 2015. In the meantime, some songs dropped out and new ones were created. It was recorded again at home, but this time I went a step further and decided to do the production, mixing and mastering myself, while learning about it
The inspiration were mainly favorite sci-fi movies (Alien, Blade Runner, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Event Horizon, Interstellar), TV series (The Expanse, Westworld, Raised By Wolves, Black Mirror, Devs), and when it comes to music is mainly electronic (Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada, Lorn, Rival Consoles, Jon Hopkins), and soundtracks, e.g. from the above films and series or games
The design of the album cover (and the single "Beyond The Unknown" and "Derelict" before) was done by my brother and friend Dawid, for which I am extremely grateful to him, he did a really phenomenal job and always exceeded my expectations
I think musically, it is primarily an evolution of the style from its predecessor - it's like its sequel or the second season
