I hope the Witcher 4 well gives us the chance to and create our own witcher and pick which school they come out off. Be it the Bear, Cat, Wolf, griffin, viper or manticore. It would be extremely interesting to see each witcher school in all their glory before the fall of the witcher order and find out the in depth history of each school. maybe we could even meet a young Vesemir or young Geralt through out the story. That's what I'm hoping for.

that sounds absolutely like a fantastic idea!, id love that, like a prequel within the lore maybe even since there adding in the lynx school, maybe use it as a school that went renegade or something having rivalries, and conspiracy's, perhaps driven into hiding during a time of humans by a evil ruler trying to weed them out, oh bro there's so many cool things they can bring to the table i cant wait

That's nonsense and I don't understand why so many people still repeat this. Do you know how challenging it would be to make all the different witcher schools and create storylines for them with unique NPCs, all the lore and everything? It's so complicated that the game could be just that and now imagine that you have to create the whole open world on top of that. Gamers have so unrealistic expectations sometimes..

@@mycardboardbox So you want CDPR to become like Bethesda which overpromises wild ideas and then delivers shallow and empty game like Starfield? Because that's what you're asking for. The game with all the witcher schools and the whole world on top of that might be possible to achieve perhaps in MMORPG genre but I don't want The Witcher to become shallow and empty like World of Warcraft. That's not what The Witcher is about. It's about a world which is filled with interesting hand-crafted locations, storylines and quests. With this approach one witcher school is more than enough work and you want CDPR to make six of them filled with all the content? Are you out of your mind? I want them to push boundaries but I also have realistic expectations of what they can achieve in the time they have for the development. They had to delay The Witcher 3 several times and in the end they couldn't finish some parts of the game anyway (like the quest with Iorveth or the clearly unfinished Nilfgardian camp). And people like you are asking for way more. It's just naive. I would also rather have less locations and smaller world but filled with interesting stuff than giant world that's empty and only filled with occasional generic fetch quest or question mark.

You will be dissapointed...

I would love for it to be a younger witcher that ages throughout a trilogy.

Honestly, I definitely would not mind if Ciri was the main character in The Witcher 4. Geralt's story ended in The Witcher 3. The best ending sets up Ciri to be a main character so well.

witcher 4 hopefuly gives people more freedom,in build and gameplay,this is the only really negative side of witcher 3
