Tarja Turunen war DIE Frontfrau bei Nightwish und das war das Problem der Band. Man(n) hatte Angst (sicher auch begründet), das sie mehr wollte, als nur gut aussehen und ihre Stimme für die weiblichen Parts geben. Ich habe Nightwish auch nur wegen ihr gehört. Und sie konnte bis jetzt nicht ersetzt werden.

Although I feel reeeeeaaaally sorry Tarja left Nightwish, I think she's been doing great with the band she assembled. Sometimes I close my eyes listening to "Die Alive" and it's pretty much the same musical style as Nightwish's. But there's one thing I have to say: Anette is not bad, as long as she doesn't sing any song prior to her joining the band. She's not got enough vocal power for them. You may check that in the videos with her singing "Wishmaster" and "Sacrament of the Wilderness" live.

I love nightwish I got five of my wolf's character names for my book from this band. Four from this very song and one from Amaranth.

Anette isn't untalented, she just has a different style. She isn't really that bad, both her AND Tarja are pretty awesome. I dunno, my opinion, take it or leave it.

The fact is, she wasn't acting like a diva. They apparently wanted to get away from her classical vocals and change their music to a more commerical mainstream style in order to sell more records in North America. They blamed her for things that either never happened or didn't happen the way they describe, fired her in an extremely unprofessional way (right behind the stage of THIS concert), then smeared her publicaly. They proved themselves worse than anything they ever blamed her for
