I am always dumbfounded at how well Pogo takes little snippets out of their musical context and seamlessly weaves them into beautiful melodies

Watching in 2024. Discovered this when I was 7. Im now 21. This is most definitely the definition of ahead of it’s time

I think I know why Pogo resonates. It brings us back when we were toddlers instinctively making songs with newly learned words not because we understood what they meant, but how they sound. Pogo hits that buried memory.

I don’t think it’s always that complicated, at least not for me. It’s just a really magical sounding song by itself and the fact that it’s made using Disney clips adds to the magic. But the nostalgia definitely brings a uniqueness to it.

@jimmy agreed. if anything Pogo creates his own world using various samples + manually designing his own sounds. for me the magic is in the amount of work done to create a complete track. and his unapologetic sense of musical freedom. he’s always feel good, even with somber tunes like Tunnels, and Mending. very little to do with Disney or my childhood. In fact, 90% of Disney songs are forgettable without another artist remixing, editing or sampling it in a new tune.

I first heard this through Steven Crowder. I always found this song really emotional but in a good way. I very much associated this song with summer 2018 when I really discovered it. One year ago from writing this, my wife and I suffered a miscarriage on what was supposed to be our 4th child. It was the worst thing I've ever experienced. And sadly I since associated this song with that awful time in my life. I always wanted to be able to enjoy this song again with positive connotations. Well I'm glad to say that as of July 3rd 2019, I've just listened to this song for the first time in a year and my wife 2 weeks ago gave birth to our TWINS! I can finally enjoy life and this song again. Just thought I'd share

I discovered this song back in 2016 when I was in 6th Grade - all throughout middle school, I would listen to countless Pogo remixes as I sketched Disney characters in art club. Now, I’m heading into 11th Grade, and this song still holds a special place in my heart! I have been in a dark state of mind. Things look dull and uninteresting and I've been lonely even with many around me in this adult foster care.,Im usually just wanting to "go away" but I fight for tomorrow that it might be sunny. For some reason when I hear this song and other songs by you I can't help but to smile. I feel such guilt and shame to be happy and smile because I'm not used to it. But to feel the love and kindness you give in your music makes me want to cry in disappointment that I didn't do more for myself to make a healthy happy mind but remember all the love and happiness my parents and loved ones gave me. To feel happy for a little bit is more than the world to me and I can thank you for that. Every time I go out I always try my best to spread kindness, generosity and wisdom to those who need it. Because of people like you that spark the loyalty in our hearts I will fight more than ever, I hope you get this, Christian A piper

This song reminds me of going into my sisters room and a kid (she liked pogo and especially this song) we’ve both moved out now and listening to this now really evokes those older memories. Kinda sad 😢

I hope that when Snow White celebrates it's 100th anniversary, Disney will recognize it with this song.

This song reminds me of Fall Semester 2010. I was into discovering music via KZread. I came across this song first of Pogo and absolutely fell in love. I came from a small impoverished town and had only listened to Rap. This song spoke to me on emotional hopeful levels. I had moved 600 miles away from home and was alone in the dorms. One of the most beautiful views was the snow falling outside my window with the 100 dorm windows across mine at night. I would shut off my lights and be amazed at how many people were in the dorms all going through different moments. I would put on shorts, a tank top, and feel the flat dorm carpet bare on my feet. Lights off, headphones on, I would turn this song on and just DANCE. For an entire hour! The dorm windows lit up across the grass from mine. This song really gave me hope.

2018 when that beat dropped I was like damn hold up now 💯😂

Damn. All of pogos songs are only describable with that word.
