My friend was killed over selling a oz of grass beside me about 12 years ago a couple years before it was slightly legalized where I live. He and I were listening to Pink Floyd Shine on you crazy diamond in his 08 impala as it happened. This song always hits different after that day, but today it hits my heart like that .22 did his watching and listening to this group perform Rogers song so perfectly I’m my opinion. Miss him and wish he was here everyday. The day his mom, dad and I got his car back from the police station it finished playing the rest of Shine on. Rest EZ BWill and thank you for watching over me like a true friend. Done running away.

I remember when you got caught with an oz. the cops would dump it out and tell you to stay out of his area. Then they started to weigh it and that weight would tell you whether you got 90 days or 20yrs. That's when I quit for 34yrs.

Hey next time you feel the pain of losing your friend in a senseless act. Don’t be saddened or cry anymore, smile and say I see you brother, I feel you, live and do something joyful in an act of kindness in memory of your friend. A simple compliment to a person who you feel rarely hears them and your loss will be the worlds gain. 😊

i have but one regret regarding this song. I would love to be able to meet these and other PFC musicians in person as I believe they represent the kind of humanity that truly make a difference in the world and sharing time with them i would come away an even better person.

I kept avoiding this video. My Brother was murdered in 1992, a month before his 30th bday. He taught me music, I was just a little kid and he brought pink Floyd into my small world. I'm glad I said fuck it and listened to this.

Wonderful. The original from Pink Floyd wish you ere here, it play s on the funeral from my everything , my mate, my brother. He died in 28aug 2015 .Our mother died in 2015, our father 12days later, and my brother 7months later. Missing my lovely one s . Thx this great song💐🌹🌹🌹🍀

I love this so much. This is such a beautiful rendition of this song. I lost my son to an overdose almost 11 years ago. This is the song that brings him back to me. These musicians warm my heart ❤️. Thank you.

As someone who heard this song when it was new and have owned this album in vinyl, cassette, and CD formats, I've loved this song for a long time. I've heard a ton of covers of it, and most don't stray too far from the original. You guys have made it your own in terms of arrangement and performance. Four amazing musicians coming together flawlessly. I'm fully moved again by this song in a way I hadn't experienced since the first time I heard it.
