Wisconsin Life | Muskie Legend
For Jim Olson, there's nothing more peaceful than rowing around Crab Lake in his 14-foot boat, trailing three fishing lines in the water behind him. Jim is a Muskie fisherman, and that requires a lot of patience.

" I have alot of stories...most of them true" lol, I hope this gentleman is still rowing
11/10 would definitely fish with him.
Jim is a great guy and dedicated to Muskies. I have known him through the national Musky club, Muskies Inc, for 25 years. Darn good boat builder too! Keep trolling Jim!!!
That's a lot of work, when I was young lad as a gamekeeper and ghillie we had to row clinker built larchwood boats out in high winds with guests in the boat, it's brutal work. And then as soon as you get to your spot the both cast and tangle together lol.
I love stories like this... passing the joy of fishing from one generation to the next. I hope that I can still enjoy fishing when I'm Jim's age!
One of the best videos I've seen !
Jim learned from Bob Ellis, who learned from me one day when he was visiting his High School friends, my Dad and my Uncle. GOD Bless him
That is a beautiful boat
Thanks for sharing Jim’s story. Reminded me of my first catch.
Awesome, fished crab lake last year for the first time for smallies. Beautiful lake
Oar trolling!!!!! Jim Olson,Tom Gelb, Doug Johnson, Joe Bucher - these guys I always admire even though we don't have Muskie/Musky in the UK, their techniques still catch big pike. Legends that need celebrating!
Beautiful story. Cheers Jim. They really are a magical fish.
Love this story! Keep it up Jim >
Awsome.. hope i can still do that when i get his age!! Bless you bud!! Keep it up
Keep up the good work 🎣🎣.
