I'm restoring a 67 C10 and after watching your video I actually can't wait to tackle the electrical side of my build. Thank you for your videos they are always great. Thoroughly enjoy your uploads. Like you, I'm working out of a single garage bringing back to life a '69 Grand Prix, so I appreciate the quality you seem to achieve in the space you have. I'm also inspired by your progress, and additionally, blown away with how organized and clean you manage to keep your work area. I try (and relatively speaking, my space is clean and organized), but looking at your working environment, I'm in awe. Thanks for positing! -A

Thanks for the Video. I appreciate you giving us all the necessary info but being short and to the point (too many videos have too much unrelated talking but not yours. Watching your vids makes me miss mine... I had two.. 65 and a 66. I got the 65 in high school, and it had 25k original miles (292 straight 6, three speed on the floor (with low)). To this day, I had no idea or reason to sell it. Regretted it ever sense. I have a 89 K2500 nearly finished.. Bought it new.. frame up restored. Just need the weather to heat up a little, and stop raining.

Absolutely Sir, love the red one you’ve got restored very cool color! I’ve got a Tremec 5 speed to go into my “63”. Behind an engine I had built by “Hot Rod Company” they provided at the cost of right at 10k a 383 Stroker small block. They claim on the web that they routinely produce 514+hp in these.. Bull, valve train geometry is way off.. I’m having to fix their f-ups .. I think they get a rotating assembly and monkeys do the rest.. Ha ha, live and learn.. hey I’ve got lots of pics of that engine, nice serpentine accessories drive.. definitely show, but I’m having to “perfect” their lack of “detailing” let’s say… “don’t bother with them” but looks like a 10 k engine, I’ll give it that.. Hey, nice rides Sir! You rock as builder.. Keep the old steel rolling… P.S. mine went through inspection lanes for Delaware. Only failed for lights.. harness is mostly fried..

Nice wiring kit for the C10 brother. I looked into the script valve covers you have on your Pop's 350 and there sweet covers but the price on them are way more then this old man can let go at this time but they sure are sweet and cast aluminum I would have never guessed they were! I'm also going with the Ram Horn exhaust manifolds less chance of bolts backing out and leaks. I just picked up a nice clean older Eddy C3BX intake manifold with the oil fill tube for my 327 next Holley Carb. I'm getting there one baby step at a time lol... l can't wait to get all my other parts then get my 327 put together and dropped in my C10 this summer God Willing. I haven't made my mind up yet if I'm going to stay with the original 3 on the tree and it's old M318 3 speed tranny or pick up a rebuilt Turbo 350 auto tranny for my C10 ?? Eather way it's going to be alot more fun driving around my old Blue Smurff C10 after I switch out engines. That old 250 in-line 6 cylinder just keeps going an going but there not much fun for a Saturday night run if you know what I mean lol... Remember what I said before if I win the lottery I'll get ahold of you Gibby and set up an appointment for you to fix up my 63 C10 shorty fleetside after you get your Dad's done lol... Gibby that's one sweet gift for your Pops. Keep on Trucking brother...
