Wow, so funny. I was sponsored by Turbo Start back in 2001. This company initially made 16 volt batteries for race cars. I contacted them and wanted to make an order for 40 of those 16V batteries and they were blown away on why I needed so many batteries. So they flew out to my house and after some dinner and drinks and a demo of my SPL monster I landed a sponsor and basically put them in touch with the car audio world. Glad to see them still going.

Nothing better then your other half getting into the same things you’re into while still having each other’s own interests . My girl started riding dirtbikes and everything with me ! It’s awesome . And of course she likes bass but one single 8 inch does the trick for her lol.

Just got my first AGM battery not long ago (yes early into my rebuilding my system) and am shocked at how much better my system pushes. I'm only at 1,500W so far, but barely dip bellow 14v diving around bumping the grind away. 👊👍

Yep I've learned a ton of stuff from watching his vids. I've been subscribed to his channel for 7 years and I'm so happy I found his channel. I've had the same system since 2001. 2 12in Rockford Fosgate punch and a Rockford Fosgate punch 1000.1 amp. All I did was buy a battery and do the big 3 and make sure all my settings were right. I had everything turned up on my amp at the time and now my system is efficient and is actually a lot louder than it was just by tuning everything the right way. Thanks EXO.

Yeah, I used to run a smart battery monitor that senses the main battery voltage and disconnects when there's going to be a problem starting...

Always cool to see the other half jumping in there to help out!

To be honest, I don't think she's interested in it very much. I think she's just being supportive and taking part to make Bruce happy. That's actually a better trait than actually being interested I think.

So how long will adding a second battery keep your stock alternator alive?? I have a MK7 golf and NOBODY makes a factory high amp alt.... I could have one custom made but I’m thinking it might be cheaper and easier and cause less warranty liability issues with just an extra battery or ultracap

Love it its always a good thing to have lots of battery power🔋unfortunately I only got 1 AGM 1800 watt battey up front on 2 2000rms watt amps so you know I have bad voltage drops.

I have a sports car and I would love bass but it would have to be a lightweight build. No one ☝️considers this.

I just bought a turbo start from g2 dynamics they go for $400 and Paul thru in two sky high 6 spot battery terminals I can't wait to do my install

I just bought a 20 ah AGM for under the hood, hope I didn’t mess up , I’m running a hifonics Hercules 3k about 1700 rms, I can add a second battery , I got a super start platinum from O’Reillys today, probably could have got more for the money.

If you don't run your car consistently and want to avoid a parasitic draw between two batteries you can always get a battery isolator which is pretty cheap these days. You can actually have it turn on with your remote wire for the amplifier which would connect the two. You could also plug it into another wire for turn on that only comes on when the car is running and that way you could play a lot of music with the car off with no fear of draining the battery which starts the car.
