Bro i have a dought. Bro if we will remove rest data cables (as we are only connecting positive and negative cable) will it effect mouse working. It will damage your mouse... it might lit up but not working. Regulate the 5V before directly connecting it to the mouse voltage terminal.

hey, I'm using this mouse from a couple of months now, it won't damage and it's working perfectly fine. We don't need to regulate it as a mouse already come with a dedicated capacitor that takes care of extra voltage.

I got an issue. When I connect mouse to my laptop it works fine but as soon as I stop moving the mouse (left it still) it stop moving the cursor for ever but buttons work fine. Means now I can't move it's cursor but can use it's buttons. To use the cursor I've to unplug and plug it back and start continuously moving it. If I stopped it's over. Any help please?

If you can open mouse once and turn the button on then you don't need to turn off again as it will get direct source of power.If on off switch can work for single time make it permanently on and pack the mouse again.Hope it will be helpful for you happy fixing.

If you can connect small wire on on/off switch then mouse will be permanently on,you can try that

This is like making fun of the viewer. If the dongle is removed from the laptop, the mouse will no longer work. It would be better if you chose a more appropriate title for the video because when we say converting a wireless mouse to a wired mouse, it means we can use the mouse without having a dongle.

Orange is positive with 5 volts power in the DC , white means negative as its ground wire ,blue and green are for data. To power up your mouse use orange and white.

Hi, you need to check, is your mouse compatible with the Universal dongle or not. If it does support a universal dongle you can order it from official Microsoft website. Currently, there is no other way to use the mouse without a dongle.

to move the cursor you need to connect the dongle, this method will resolve frequent battery replacement issues but for data transfer dongle is a must.

THIS TECHNIC DESTROYED MY MOUSE. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. MOUSE REQUIRES 1.5V BUT USB PORTS BRING 5V. IT KILLED THE OPTICAL SENSOR OF MY MOUSE.

it won't be possible to kill it with 5v as the mouse come with inbuilt capacitor which allows current which is required in the mouse.

@@GadgetJunction A mouse which was originally built to work with one 1.5 AA battery, is not expected to have a capacitor. A mouse which was built to work with 1.5v battery cannot work with 5v. The optical sensor of my mouse is dead . I tested this mouse on several PCs to make sure it's not the fault of a driver. Clicks work but no cursor movement. It means death.

It's not worth it there is no direct way to transfer data, it's like re engineering mouse again.

But, it don't help with the signal, only the energy... :/

@@GadgetJunction But Manufacture Company Made This Capacitor For 3V Charge . I Think 5V+ Will Damage The Capacitor Slowly Slowly In Long Term. Every Mouse Components Are Not Same. (For My Mouse) The 5V Charge Goes Into 10 Pins Voltage Controller IC And This IC Convert It To 3V And Divide It Into diffierent Sections OF Mother Board. So Long Term 5V Supply Will Damage It Surely. Did you Read The Schematic Diagram OF Your Mouse?

When he Tries the mouse , He only shows the red Light in the camera. When he is clicking in 3:18 he doesn't show what mouse he is using. Wireless mouse uses different voltage that is why only the light will turn on and the clicks won't work. In the long term this will burn your mouse , or damage it making it work worst. Don't do it. This is a scam, fake video
