Wire Wrapped Pendant Tutorial- Prong Setting For Emerald Cut Gemstones
In this video I'll show you how I put a new spin on an old design!
I'll be making a prong set pendant using an emerald cut faceted gemstone.

For really special stones I like to put them in simple, clean settings like this as to allow the stone to do most of the talking. This is perfect thank you!

Have you tried making component settings and stringing them onto the wires at the end? Center drilled pearls can be added to shortened end wires.

Thank you, Melissa ! I love this wrap. What keeps the stone from pushing through the back? Does the girdle sit on top of the frame?

Yes! I try to secure the girdle.

The side wires are supporting the girdle which is the widest part of the gemstone.
I love the pendant but do you have a problem with the bale causing it to roll to the side?

What happened to the top two wires? They just seemed to disappear at 2809.
