    Fabulous teaching, clear, no fuss, great advice and a voice that's nice to listen to... all last, I'm so fed up of all these trebbly tight throated voices we're subjected to these days. Long live the gentle relaxed voice. And thanks for the great wire sculpture tips!

    Thank you because I am rubbish but my college teacher expects us to make whole ass insects now that we’ve used wire for three days. This was very helpful and I’ll be looking for the silver tape you used

    So helpful! I’m a textile artist wanting to explore 3D sculptures. Your taping technique looks perfect. Can you share what type of wire you use? I’m in the US but guessing types and gauges are maybe universal? Thanks for sharing your wonderful tips and work.

    For the finished look would I cut off the rest of the tape so it doesn't look messy?

    A wire sculpture is hard for the eye to see, as the front and back merge. I think the tape tabs gives a much better look. If you don’t like the tape tabs you just twist on the tape completely. Darcy

    Catherine Dabney 1mm steel wire which has a zinc surface so no rust. Darcy
