I recently decided to build my first 10 inch home rack server,which is incomplete at the moment.(waiting the rest of the items ). I decided on the easy option and purchased a pass through keystone patch panel. Although it is excellent quality ,it does not look right with the other components. So decided to research the patch panels with the LSA distribution panel. Watched a couple of videos to give me an idea about the standards,what type of cable and tools to use. So decided to purchase the items and get more information on this so i have a better understanding. I came across your video and the depth of explaining and showing how it is done is excellent. In fact the only one so far i have seen which has giving me the confidence to try this . I did notice that the unit you had ,the connectors are horizontal which i could see right away a design problem for installation. Roll on to 2024 and the unit i bought has the connectors vertical and securing clamps in columns ,which to me is a better design. Thank you for taking the time to produce this video so new bees like me can try this.
