Wire Carabiner with braided steel hinge

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I made this carabiner from wire and steel rope. A ball bearing helps keep it shut since the braid allows for movement.

I like the illustration video. No weird music. Keep it real. Some KZreadr tends to talk to much. 😂

Awesome build. And hilarious how your kid's "check it out" was the perfect soundtrack.

My family didn’t have much money when I was a kid. I kept myself entertained by making things from stuff I took apart. It’s always stuck with me. Today, I just have better tools to play with. If you look at things for what they can be, you get a knack for finding materials for projects everywhere. If you have time, check out my original projects on Instructables under user name MrBalleng. Thanks for the support Lee.

It straightens and hardens the wire.

The point of the project is to show you how to make something and get enjoyment from the making, not necessarily to save money. Knowledge displayed will give you ideas in other directions, and that's always good.

@@pheenix42 In no way was I being disrespectful with my flippant remark. I appreciate your DIY skills, it's just that I would 'have to' buy the item because of my inability to make it. Well done!!! 👍🏼
