The smart switch functionality of this gadget is fine. Just don't rely on its readings for electricity consumption as it is incapable of measuring RMS current. The gadget that can do that is the Meco power meter. Meco has no app, you will have to take readings off it on a regular basis as required. It has a cumulative counter.

My Real-time question: In the early morning at 4:00AM my water motor pump 16amps plug must switch ON and turn off at 6:00AM. I do not switch ON any Wifi/Hotspot during nighttime. Is the scheduler will switch ON? Can I view electricity consumption? if electricity turns OFF and ON for minutes .what will happen to the scheduler?

1.You need to have wifi for the scheduler function to work. 2. You can't view electricity consumption unless the plug is connected to wifi. 3. If electricity disruption happens then mostly the scheduler won't work.

@@grandpasworld4164 :Thanks for ur reply. If i do manually switch ON water pump at 4:00AM. Can i set timer in the plug/app ? If so how many minutes can i keep the timer ON. Can i check power consumption during timer from ON to OFF? What will happen if electricity fluctuates?

You can add many devices but only one device can be plugged at one time.
