Of course it wont be free. They just add SP Offline Mode to save money because right now singeplayer is running on the servers. You have to buy access to PVE Mode.

I don't like PMC karma idea when you can't tell anyone apart.

Noiceguy didn't really explain it very well. PMC karma wont be how your thinking. Instead players who camp extracts and kill players near extracts will lose karma and eventually be hunted by a new boss that will place trip mines and claymores.

You got the whole thing about PVE WAAAAAY different than what pestily got... He was saying: If you que solo, you won't use a server, you'll be using your system. Lots of games do this, but it takes CPU power. The solo and co op PVEs arent separate, itll just be the difference of using one of their servers or using your own CPU

He got it horribly wrong. What's affected is how matchmaking will work: playing with friends (Co-op) will still use servers like always, but solo queuing will load the raid locally by your PC (no need for a server, therefore, no lag or high ping). This change is good since Nikita stated that 70% of PvE players are solo queuing, so this new system will make solo players load into their private raids faster and reserve the server space for players who play Co-op, which will hopefully mean faster matchmaking. It's a win-win.

Wouldn't Local PVE tank your FPS like playing offline practice?

Solo PvE just means that you will have the option to load in by yourself and exclude anyone else from joining. Co-op will still work outside of that.

If that keeps happening and it's saying server connection lost when you get to 100% loot pools, try restarting pc, been happening to me and a pc restart usually fixes it for a while

@@og_ratchetllamma8534 unfortunately I’ve tried almost everything and nothing works. Ever since around around the time the new upgrade came out it’s been happening. I’ve tried changing servers, changing graphics/frames, changing MTU, changing advanced videos setting on pc, clearing cache, deleting logs, rejoining same match, checking for updates and deleting/ reinstalling. Brother this sucks. Tarkov is one of my favourite games but it really tests my patience. Wanting 20-25 mins! For loot to load just to get to the very end of that and get this issue. I’ve seen people talk about this issue all the way back in 2019 so I’m hopeful they can/know how to fix it :/ .

You will be able to, but most people are playing solo and it’s taking up server space, so they are going to make it so you can have your own local save for solo play on your pc for pve (likely you will host the server) so solo players don’t take up all the server space

As of 6 pm PST, Promo codes still work.

If you got kappa and or lightkeeper, take a break from tarkov. You now have plenty of time to refresh your tarkov battery. If you don't have kappa now you know you got about 60 days to get it.

I really miss enjoying it. Years ago I remember putting kits together for like 50k right after the flea got added. Running a new and interesting build every raid without breaking the bank. It was always time intensive but now it's a full time job to play

5:05 If they manage to pull off the mod support it'll be great from day one, cuz the SPT modders have already developed hundreds of fire mods for the game. They'll have to be reworked, since the client-side offline implementation surely won't be exactly the same as in SPT, but with some editing I'd imagine most of those modders should be able to adapt most of their work.

I started cheating and it's brought fresh air into Tarkov, I actually like playing now.

It feels like the rest of the game doesn't really support open world right now. Even ignoring the optimization problems, the overall flow, balance, difficulty, cost, etc doesn't make sense for open world. A lot will have to change between then and now.

Well... that's nice, but I've moved on already. They care now because competition and losing magically creates a sudden desire to "hear" the fan base. I'd spend my time on GZW, helping their developers who actually communicate with the community and playing Arma Reforger. Chilled out, no stress, enjoying life.
